Rurouni Kenshin

In Japan, around 140 years ago, there was a great hitokiri (assassin) nicknamed Battousai. He killed many men in a blink of an eye and was taught the most strongest style of swordsmanship; Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu. But he never completed the training and became hitokiri at the age of 15. Then, after fighting another hitokiri, he meets a women. Based on historical facts.

I have 1 word for this...Masterpiece. The story starts out with the 4 part OVA showing the beginnings of Kenshin Himura. But the original TV show started after that (He has the famous Reversed Blade "Sakabato" and the cross-shaped scar). I just love the art for the OVAs (the prequel and the sequel). There's as much action as there is dramatic sequences. It's perfect for all groups that enjoy a well-thought out samurai story. ok so there's 95 episode...who cares? This is a MUST for any anime fans!
