Kagome is a young 15 year old schoolgirl in the 21st century. For years, she have heard tales of the "Shikon no Tama" (Jewel of Four Souls) but she never believed a word of it. One day, she is forced into the Bone Eater's well and transported into the feudal era of Japan. There, she met a boy, bound to the sacred tree by an enchanted arrow. She soon releases the arrow from the boy and thus reviving him from a 50-year-old seal and the Shikon Jewel was found inside of her. Our story begins...
This is a wonderful story about using the ultimate power for protecting your loved ones. Rumiko Takahashi is the creator of this super cool series. Damn she must be a billionaire by now with series like InuYasha and Ranma 1/2! The art is beautiful and the story is great. The 3 movies that came out were really good too! You should really watch this anime. One of the best super-natural fantasies out there!
