We are in the year 2015. 15 years ago, humans had found an Angel. They try to inslave it but it broke free and created what we all know as the Second Impact, killing almost half of the world population. The rest of the Angels have continue what the First has begun. The fate of the world rest in the hands of three 14 year-old kids. They use the giant creations by man to defend the earth and destroy the Angels. As the story goes on they soon uncover the truth to the Second Impact and to why the Angels attack.
This is one messed up series! The beginning was not so bad, understandable and interesting. But then your mind will be doing jumping jacks at the end of the series. You will be disturbed and paralysed by the end of it all. you have been warned! But still I wonder why it is one of the most popular anime in the whole entire world? Oh well...
