DEATH: Services fro Richard V Hogya, 65, of Painesville, willbe 1pmtoday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave, Painesville. MR Hogya died June 27, 2001at HeatherHill Nursing Home in Chardon. Born July 1, 1935, in Fairport Harbor, he was a lifetime Painesville resident. He was a 1953 graduate of Harvey High School and he served in the U S Navy from 1955to 1959. He enjoyed reading and traveling. Mr Hogya retired in 1998 as an LPN at Lake West Hospital in Willoughby after 30 years.He served on the Painesville Township Fire Depsrtment fo r ten years, worked at Laurel Wood Hospital as an LPN for eight yearsandworked as a machinist at Coe Mfg. Company in Painesvile for 15 years. Survivorsare his wife, Leslie Ann (Winters) Hogya; mother, Julia Hogya of Painesville; sons, Mark (Susan) Hogya of Lakewood and Phil Hogya of Painesville; step-sons, Kenneth (Drema) Winters of Perry, Steve(Diane) Winters of Painesville and Lennie (Becky) Winters of Thompson; daughters, Chris (Mark) Ciariello of Painesville,and Julie (Joseph)Caine of Painesville; step-daughter, OndreaSeckman of Painesville; brother, Russell Hogya of Bethesda, MD;sister, Rita Lovko of Norway; 17 grand-children; and five great-grand-children He also leaves former wife,Marlene(Miller) Hogya. His father, John Hogya; brother, Robert Hogya; and step-son Dean Winters are deceased. Friends maycall from noon until 1 pm todayat the funeral home. The Rev. Arlie Spargur ofLakeside Baptist Church will officiate at services. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetary, Painesville.

DEATH: Services for Robert Hogya, 58, of Painesville Township, a mail carrier, wil be at 9:30am Saturday at St. Anthonyof Padua Church, 523 Plum St., Fairport Harbor. Mr Hogya died Dec. 21 at home. Born Oct. 19, 1936in Fairport Harbor, he was a lifelong Painesville resident. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, VFW Post 7754 in Fairport Harbor, and the Hungarian Culture Club in Fairport Harbor.He servedin the U.S. Navy from 1955 to 1958. He was a carrier with the U.S. Post Office in Painesville for 34 years, retiring in 1992. Survivors are his wife, Sybil (Shadburn); sons, Eric of Painesville and Edward (Tiffany) of Romeo, Mich;daughter,Rosemarie Hogya of Willoughby; mother Julia Hogya of Painesville; brothers, Russell of Bethesda, Md., and Richardof Painesville; sister, Rita Merrillof Indianapolis, Ind.; and grandson, Joseph R. Hogya. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm today at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville. The Rev. Peter Mihalec will officiate at services.Burial will be in Riverside Cemetary in Painesville. The family suggests contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th St. Cleveland, 44119.
