Have you ever noticed your pig just doing something weird that you couldn't figure out?  Below are some things I have found Dixie doing and explanations as to why.

Pawing at blankets.  Dixie will paw at her blankets and sheets ALL the time.  At first, I just passed this off as her arranging her sheets for sleeping on, but she would still paw at them even if I helped her cover up and she seemed to be nice and toasty.  A visit to the Animal Planet channel explained why:  wild warthogs actually live in the ground.  They dig holes in the ground to live in.  Hence, I believe Dixie's primal instincts are coming out when she is "digging" at her blanket.
