Season 8- Episode 20 - The Letter

Susan definitely looked like she had an idea what the end of the letter was going to say.

Abby just looked bored by the news.

Damn good acting from Noah especially when he got to the last page.

That was a pretty crappy way for Kerry to find out. Surely *somebody* would have thought to mention it to her before she read it on the notice board. But then, Kerry is the type of person who would automatically check a board to see if there's any important information on it. Other people could walk by that board a dozen times before even noticing the letter pinned up.

Romano and the tracheostomy. EEEWWWWWEEEEEEEEE!

Romano "A little less whining, a little more action, Dr. Carter." Heheh.

Pratt getting his match at County...like we didn't see *that* coming a mile away.

Guess we can add attempted kidnapping to Carter's rap sheet. But I did enjoy seeing Abby being dropped on her sorry ass <g>

Abby "I probably wouldn't have been stupid enough to open the door if I hadn't been [drinking]."
So *finally* we get an answer to that question.

Hmm, Chen was on duty alone while Luka/Kerry/Carter were off...wonder if she managed to kill anyone.

Susan asking Romano "Are you sure you got [all the cancer]?"
What's the betting that if Mark hadn't just died that Romano's answer would have been along the lines of "Nah, couldn't be bothered working all night. I'll slice her up again later."

Re: Carter 'being there the longest'. Well not if you count Haleh, Malik, Lydia...but oh I forgot...they're only nurses. And Kerry has actually spent more consecutive years there, cause Carter was out of the ER for the year he was doing surgery.

Hope Carter cleaned the earpieces of Mark's stethoscope before he started using it (if he did indeed take it)

And for all of those who thought that it should have been given to Elizabeth as a memento for Rachel or Ella, all I can say is that if Mark had wanted one of them to have it, then he'd have taken it with him when he left County.

I was watching this episode with my Dad. He thinks that Abby was lying when she told Carter that she'd gone to the meeting. After raising three kids, he says that it was a dead giveaway when Abby said, "How did what go?" when Carter asked her "How did [the meeting] go?"

I'm still uncertain about whether she went or not, but if she *did* go, I'm pretty certain that she was doing crosswords or something and not really 'there'.
