Season 8- Episode 19 - Brothers and sisters
Abby must be as lazy about housekeeping as I am, otherwise why
would the cloth she used to mop the blood from her face after her
attack still be sitting in the bathroom. It's not as if she never
went back there after it happened.
Ick, even Dave had better chat up lines than Pratt does...*and*
he knew when to take a hint.
So Luka doesn't bother using a 'peep-hole' either...guess he felt
safe enough with a drill in his hand.
And Carter doesn't even bother to acknowledge Luka, not even when
he's offered Pizza.
Nice reflexes with the knife.
(At least Dave had the sense to listen to nurses)
Could TPTB not have made *some* mention of Susan's fear of
flying? I don't doubt that she would have suppressed her fear
enough to fly when it was a question of Suzie needing her, but it
would have been nice for them to mention it. But then again, who
apart from Mark knew about her fear.
(All they needed was for Carter to say to her "You're going
to *fly*?" and have Susan reply that she doesn't have a
choice)
In the time it took Gallant to dither about helping Pratt, he
could have easily been out in the corridor yelling his head off
for assistance. The guy's supposed to be in the military, aren't
they trained to think? Or was Gallant just so well trained in
following orders from anyone higher ranking that he *couldn't*
think for himself.
Pratt doesn't even know *how* to do the procedure?
Where's Sobriki or Fossen when you need them to get rid of
somebody?
Carter, you son of a bitch.
In case you've forgotten, Dave wasn't the only person responsible
for the death of the Marfan's patient. When you're hurling
accusations around, just remember that your good buddy Chen
dropped the ball as well. That patient didn't die just because
Dave 'thought he knew everything'. He died partly because Chen
didn't pick up the diagnosis either.
Kerry "Pratt, turf that guy."
Pratt "Yeah, okay."
Tell me, have we ever seen Pratt actually do something that he's
been ordered to by a senior member of staff?
Why is it such a big deal that Pratt did a 'perfect tap'? He's an
intern, not a newbie med student. Shouldn't he have done them
before? And why was Chen having to supervise him? Methinks that
this was a deliberate thing by Pratt to get her attention.
Carter "I told you to wait in the lounge."
Pratt "What good does that do anybody?"
Well for a start, it saves them from being cut open by an idiot
like you.
Carter may not want to be a 'hardass', but he sure as hell *needs*
to be. Being friends with people you're training only works if
they already respect you.
Why am I not surprised that Jing-Mei "hey, who needs
supervision to do a central line...oops" Chen isn't overly
concerned about someone doing a procedure that they're not
trained for.
(snicker) Now what exactly is Romano going to be praying for?
<g>
Against department policy to let a relative travel in the back of
an ambulance? News to me.
I know that the preacher didn't mean Kerry any harm, and I know
that she eventually got rid of him without needing assistance,
but how dare Pratt just walk by and laugh while she's being
groped like that. And why did *nobody* even ask her if she needed
help getting rid of him? But of course, this is Kerry and nobody
cares.
Not even going to get into the whole Carter/Abby/Luka stuff,
mainly because I don't really care.
