Season 8- Episode 15 - It's all in your head

Voiceover "Now Corday and Greene are forced to leave their personal problems at home. There's no place for hot heads in the ER."

(if that's the case, then half the staff shouldn't be there)

Song lyrics "How lucky can one guy be?" Now that's just mean, playing it for Mark <vbeg>

Neurosurgeon "You should have been dead a year ago, Mark." And half the audience is saying "Too bloody right he should!"

What happened to the Luka who was always so judgmental towards patients who had put other peoples lives at risk? If he had hit someone while speeding, would he have swung the 'stethoscope of justice' at his own head?

(Although I admit, I loved his little guilty look at Abby through the car window just before he drove off)

Luka re his car "You only live once."
Abby "Not if you keep driving like a maniac."
Hate to say this about Abby, but "Word!"

Luka "You only have to sleep with me at weekends."
Hey, if that's all the rent is, *I'm* moving in!

Lawyers "Half as smart as doctors but twice as sneaky." Hehehe

For a change, Frank seemed to be actually trying to be nice and help someone. And Chen definitely looked as if she was considering the idea of getting a background check on her 'date'.

I can understand Elizabeth getting pissed at Mark not showing up for Ella's appointment. I guess from her point of view he's putting his job before his family yet again.

How the hell could a little girl like that pull the trigger so many times?

So Mark is all for kids getting the blame and taking the responsibility for their actions (kids on the sled), unless of course it's *his* kid.

What the hell was Mark thinking? Scheduling a gamma knife treatment in the *middle* of his shift?

Burns patient "Wouldn't you [leave me]...I mean, look at me?"
Elizabeth really should have answered "Hey, I've seen worse...I mean, I'm married to Dr. Greene." <vbeg>

Chen "You give a guy hand release during Harry Potter and he wants to marry you." That had better have been a joke, cause I don't particularly like the image of a pair of adults doing that in a cinema that's most likely packed with kiddies.
Only Chen didn't look as if she was deliberately trying to make Carter choke on what he was eating.

Luka "I need you." And Abby looks up hopefully.
"They're kicking my ass at Pictionary." Hehehe

And yet again, Kerry is the 'big bad bitch' when she's trying to send Frank and Jerry home for fighting, and nobody is helping her out. Hello, she's the boss, it's her *job* to keep things in order, but somehow we're all supposed to think she's being a bitch again.

Peter "I just wanted to make a clean break."
Hehehe. Did ELS get that line put in specially?

Peter "How's the baby?" Does *nobody* remember the kids name?

I can't believe that Mark was also dumb enough to not arrange for somebody to be at his house with him. Hell, he could have hired an agency nurse to stay with him for the night. Or was he maybe hoping that something *would* happen so he could throw it in Elizabeth's face and tell her "if you'd been at home like a proper wife, then this would never have happened." Etc.

Ick, I wouldn't fancy having to rip the tape off that eye in the morning!

Interesting. Tonight, Rachel asks Mark "How did it go?" (meaning the medical conference that he had told her he was attending) and he answers "What?" because he hadn't actually attended a conference and didn't know what she was talking about.

And in 'The Letter', Carter asks Abby "How did it go?" (meaning the AA meeting that Abby was supposed to have attended) and Abby answers "What?" because she didn't attend any meeting and therefore didn't know immediately what Carter was referring to.

Of course, it's probably just a coincidence.
