Season 7 - Episode 3 - Mars Attacks
Maybe it's just me but I don't remember ever seeing that
entrance to the ER on the show before (the one where Carter walks
in) was it a deliberate attempt by TPTB to show how unfamiliar
the place is to Carter after 3+ months away? Or am I just
unobservant.
(cool sunglasses by the way)
And so the first familiar face Carter sees is Luka kil....sorry,
shocking a patient. What a pleasant sight. And was it
just me or did it just seem a little, I don't know, staged.
I don't mean that it was set up deliberately for Carter...but it
didn't look as 'right' as other 'crash' scenes.
Wow.....Jing-Mei/Ming Na has been busy growing in just one week
(okay, okay, I know we never actually got a good view of her
waistline in the previous two episodes)
Loved Romano's line about having his fingers crossed when taking
the Hippocratic oath.
OMG....the hair...the hair....damm, I should have borrowed
Carter's sunglasses.
nah, I'm kidding...it actually wasn't too bad....I prefered the
streaks though.
When I saw the scene with Dave and Mark up on the surgical floor
wearing
the blue coats.....for a minute there, I thought Dave was Andrew
the desk
clerk.....weird, huh?
So Jing-Mei - I've got a photographic memory - Chen, 'forgot'
that Abby wasn't a student any more.
Here's a reminder.....pink (ish) scrubs and no lab coat....usually
mean nurse.
For some reason I thought nurses <could> do sutures.
Don't know why...
Okay, no offence to any OB or ER nurses.....but why would Kerry
think an OB nurse would be any use down in the ER (okay, maybe on
OB cases), but that's about it....
I thought the whole idea of the little kid in the retirement home
was just very sad.
Poor Carter....looking wistfully through the glass at the trauma
'party' he's not invited to.
OUCH....(Dave slipping on the water) that <had> to
hurt.
Loved the expression on Dave's face when he was watching Jing-Mei
manipulate the patients jaw.
Awww, Reese playing with his toys, he's just so cute.
And he's another actor who seemed to have grown between episodes
(although it was probably because in S&W we saw him in
Peter's arms, and in MA we only saw him on his own, so the
perspective was different)
and a final thought....if Mark is supposed to witness the
<entire> process of Carter giving a urine sample.....why
had he his back to him most of the time
(yes, I know, he probably didn't <want> to look - obviously
not a Carterholic -but he should have)
