Season 7 - Episode 13 - Thy Will be done
Carter's comment to Abby "I hate to come between you and
your couch"
....shame he doesn't seem too bothered about coming between her
and her
boyfriend....
I found the big red shoes sticking up on the gurney very....unnerving....
(and yeah, maybe it has something to do with 'Send in the clowns'....thank
you Sarah...grrrr)
Is it common practice in America to go to the ER for a cold?
Hell, even the
flu shouldn't be cause for an ER visit....(especially not Mark -
I got part
of my brain cut out and now I'm a jerk - Greene's ER)
okay Carter.....it's time to stand in front of a mirror and
practice your
'serious doctor face'.....it can't be <that> difficult.....
(if it was anyone else, I'd say that they just couldn't act
properly....but
Noah doesn't have that excuse, so 'Carter's' smirking must be
deliberate)
Had to smile at Luka trying to explain to the Bishop what Lupus
is.....mainly cause the Bishop probably knew more about it than
Luka did.....
Well, if I had agreed to go out with a guy on short notice and he
hadn't
told me it was formal....I don't think I'd have been too
impressed....
(even if he was as cute as Carter <g>)
But I did love Carter's attempts to hide his bunch of flowers...
And correct me if I'm wrong.....but was Abby wearing a black bra
under a
<white> shirt.....tsk tsk...
Yay....Dave got a plot.....
nice to see that Kerry has a good opinion of him......although
maybe she
just wanted to make sure that Carter didn't have any excuse to
stick
around.... anyway, whatever her reasons, I liked to hear her say
it.
And definitely Dave handled it better than Carter did....
Mark's comment about working on the dead patient brought in by
the
paramedics...
"What's the point of going through the motions?"
Answer, to make the family feel that everything that could be
done, was
done...to give them time to prepare themselves.....
hell, I don't know....why don't you ask Luka why he did it in
Homecoming?
And that whole scene with Kerry and Cleo trying to resusitate
that last
patient and Mark saying 'he's dead....let it go....'
it reminded me of the scene in Last Rites....where Mark was
trying to bring
back the terminally ill girl and Kerry was telling him not to.....
Hmm, if I hadn't known about Abby's alcoholism, I would have
assumed that
she was drunk in the 'letting the air out of the tyre's' scene.....but
then,
people don't have to drink to have a good time (think that that
was the PSA
for the week <g>)
Mark's conversation with Kerry......
K: What happens if you can't think of a name of a drug?
M: That won't happen
Cein - how the bloody hell can you be sure of that, dammit.
and then,
K: I am asking you to take some time off...
M: I'm saying no...
cein - surely Kerry can order Mark to take sick leave?
isn't she his boss?
When Carter and Abby were talking in the Limo on the way home....I
knew it
wasn't going to happen....but it would have been the perfect time
for them
to kiss.....damm.....
and finally.....
After 'Surrender' aired on RTE, I was talking to my Dad about it.....he
hadn't actually sat down and watched it, but the TV had been on
while he was
doing something else.....
anyway, he asked me 'Did I really see Kerry Weaver in a lesbian
relationship
last night?'
and when I confirmed it, his reaction was "Oh my God....no....that's
sick...."
Now before I start getting flamed, please let me assure you that
my father
is <not> homophobic......he's definitely Weaverphobic....but
that's it <g>
(I've been waiting months to see his reaction to this plot....and
I knew
that he wouldn't have a problem with the 'gay' aspect of it.....just
with
the idea of Weaver 'getting some'....)
He also had a problem with the idea that Mark would have been
allowed back
to work so soon after the op.....
From our perspective, only two weeks have passed since 'Piece of
Mind' was
shown.....although I think when it was screened in the US there
was a gap of
a few weeks, but still not a lot of time had passed.
