Season 7 - Episode 10 - Piece of Mind
the beginning reminded me of an episode of 'Casualty' ....in
that we
actually saw the accident happen.
Even though I was expecting it, I still jumped when I saw the
truck smash
into the car.
Umm, do all Americans get a general anasthetic for having a tooth
pulled or
is Mark just a wuss....hehehe
was I the only one who thought that Harris (Belushi) didn't have
his neck
brace on properly when he was being wheeled into the ER?
I always assumed that a 'Power of Attourney' would have to be
witnessed....and shouldn't Mark have thought of it a little bit
earlier? or
was he just trying to get Elizabeth to sign it before she
realized what she
was signing....and would it be legal anyway? I mean if the
tumor is
affecting Mark's behaviour, couldn't someone claim that he
<wasn't> of sound
mind when he got it drawn up?
(and no comments from the back about how nobody would notice the
difference
<g>)
What were those little circular things on Marks head?
And why wasn't his head shaved <before> they were stuck on?
uch, Abby listening to Harris talk about his sons death from SIDS....'thank
you for that large round of indifferance Abby'......could you at
least
pretend to take an interest?
(snicker) ......Love your tights Mark...you should wear them more
often...
(yes I know they've got something to do with preventing blood
clots....I
know they're medically necessary....but damm they look stupid
<g>)
I never thought I'd say this, but Mark actually looked good with
his head
shaved. Unlike a lot of other bald guys who just don't have
the right
shaped head to go bald cough *David Beckham* cough.
I found it interesting (but not really surprising) that Kerry
would remember
a patient by the type of accident he'd had, instead of by his
name.
Loved Dave's line about blood donation.
Carter: 'That's generous of you'
Dave: 'That, and I get drunk for half as much when I'm down a
pint.'
although all I can say is that Dave must have a low tolerance for
alchohol
cause it's never happened to me <g> (hic)
I don't usually notice the music, but I loved what they used
while Mark and
Elizabeth were waiting in his room for him to be brought to
surgery.
I was wondering why Mark still had his glasses on when he was
being wheeled
to the OR, then I realized that he'd need them so he could see
what he was
being shown......but then they took them away from him while he
was being
anasthetised.
And you'd think that someone would have known that he needed them
to see
clearly. I mean, what would have happened if Elizabeth
hadn't walked in and
told them (perfect timing by the way).
would they have figured 'oops, must have screwed up, he can't see
a
thing...oh well, let's try again tomorrow' ?
I liked Romano's 'thumbs up' to Harris, before his surgery.
and his line 'Clocks ticking, his heart isn't' hehehhe.
ugh, almost forgot this, Abby could you pick a more appropriate
time to
grill Carter on whether he's told Weaver about the pills.
Actually, with all the questioning that Harris was doing I'm
surprised he
didn't ask what Carter was supposed to have told Weaver about.
last point (I promise <g>)
after Mark had his altered episode, and Elizabeth left to talk to
Burke, was
he in restraints or something? Cause it looked like it.....
So I guess real love means being willing to take out your
fiancees 'foley'
(ugghghhh)
