hmm, Maggie actually seemed quiet 'normal' when we first saw
her
tonight....or so cein thought....Abby of course with all the
years of
experience, knew that Maggie was acting <way> too normal.....
Memo to Abby, when doing something in the bathroom that you don't
want to be
caught doing, <always> lock the door....dammit did you
learn <nothing> from
all your 'pre AA drinking years' ?
(loved the 'Eurodoctor' comment)
So Maggie is worried that an interviewer will notice a tiny band-aid
under.... A LONG SLEEVED BLOUSE????? hello?
When 'Stephanie' was looking for Dave, I'm really surprised that
no one
decided to drop him in it by saying, ''oh yeah....there he is....HEY
DAVE'....
Hmm, when Cleo said 'I can take care of her' (referring to
Kynisha) who else
was wondering if she meant it in a 'Robert DeNiro/Arnold
Swarzanegger' type
way instead of a Julie Andrews/Sound of Music type way.....(Father Ted reference)
So if Mark has surgery then he could be left with an 'inability
to
speak'....and how many Mark haters were cheering at this point?
When the lawyer suggested to Elizabeth that Jesse's death may
have been a
factor in her screwing up, it seemed to me that that was the
first time that
she had even considered the possibility....
I remember someone commenting on the fact that Elizabeth's lawyer
should
have explained to her before the deposition started about only
answering
'yes or no'.....my guess is, that he did tell her to 'answer
briefly'....but
that she didn't take it in....being so nervous and all.... (of
course she
should really have prepared for her deposition by watching as
many episodes
of 'The Practice' as possible....hehehe)
Carter was right....Mark should have been watching the entire
blood drawing
procedure....just like he should have been watching Carter pee in
a bottle a
few episodes earlier....I think someone more responsible should
take over
the job....(oh Susan?......cein stands aside to avoid being
stampeded by the
rush of volunteers)
Um....why do I have no problem with believing that Jackie would
have been
able to 'sort things out' for Kynisha.....
Okay....I do like Carter....really.....but I just wanted to smack
him about
the head for being such a self-centred little jerk....he is
<dammed> lucky
to have a job....(okay, I know they can't fire someone just for
having an
addiction...at least not once they're seeking treatment for it)....but
dammit he knew the rules...he accepted them....if he doesn't like
it....then
tough....find another hospital that's willing to take him on....
and as a subsequent episode will show...maybe Carter
<can't> be
trusted....not yet anyway....
Is it right that Luka should be the one to treat his girlfriend's
mother?
(okay, it could be argued that since Luka and Abby don't have a
'real'
relationship, that it doesn't really matter...but I would have
thought that
they'd get someone else to do it.....of course then we wouldn't
have had
that scene with Luka picking Maggie up and carrying her back to
the
bed....heheheh and how many of us wished he'd do that to
<us>)
Hmmm, big hands, big ..... ?
I thought it was sweet seeing Luka holding on to Abby as he
slept....probably to reassure himself that she was really there.
And at the end of the episode we can see that Abby still hasn't
learned
anything about locking bathroom doors....
And I have to say, that I am glad that Maggie is gone....I don't
know if
it's because I don't particularly like Sally Field or if I don't
like
Abby....but I'm glad it's over.....
and finally, when Mark says that 'God owes us one' (after
Elizabeth has
admitted to lying under oath).....personally if I had been in
Elizabeth's
position, I would have been thinking 'oh crap....I lied under
oath and now
my boyfriend's gonna die'.....
