he was going
to say 'no worries mate, forget all about it'....why are you so
surprized to
be sued?
- um Abby, dropping your mother off at tthe bus station is
<not> the same as
'I put her on a bus'....
- question....what did Romano swallow a handful of before he left
for his
'date' with Niki? Viagra? Something more sinister?
(I dunno...it just
seemed like one of those 'insignificant things that will achieve
greater
significance in light of subsequent events'...you know, like
Mark's
'headache' last episode)
oh, and I think I've figured out <why> he told Elizabeth
not to talk to Risk
Management.....it's because he knew that they would tell her 'not
to
worry...she wouldn't lose her license, and that the hospital
lawyers would
sort it out' - he probably just wanted to make sure that she had
a lousy
Thanksgiving.... hehehe
- dammit Carter...do you have to llook so smug when you were
treating 'wild
turkey cause it's Thanksgiving' guy? (Dr - I can tell who's
a druggie - Carter)
- hehehe...they really should make 'emessis basins' in a larger
size <g>
and I see that the 'no-fail pregnancy indicator' strikes again.
(from my 'little book of movie cliches' - any woman of
childbearing age who
throws up, is pregnant.) and if that wasn't enough of a
clue, Elizabeth was
also treated by Jing-Mei 'I treat all the pregnant women/babies'
Chen.
- Good for Chuny running to get Luuka.....personally, if I
hadn't read the
reviews, I would have been hoping that Carter would have been
proved
wrong...but anyway....
- the 'ominous music of doom' playing whhen Mark couldn't speak....it
sucked...big time ( not the music itself, but using it to
illustrate that
yes...this is something <BIG> happening )
- Umm, Jing-Mei, it took you <how>; long to come to terms
with being
pregnant.....at least give your mother more than 30 seconds to
react....
(shit, even the most liberal and tolerant parents are going to
need a little
longer than that to adjust to their daughter having a child with
a person of
a different ethnicity...especially if they weren't aware that she
was even seeing
anyone....and only found out that she was (heavily) pregnant
earlier that day....)
- Cleo to Peter - 'We can talk to each oother...that's what people
do in
relationships' (yeah, unless you're Luka and Abby )
- and as for her comments to Peter.....<
Peter got his pay docked because he assaulted a fellow member of
staff....hell, Dave could probably have pressed charges (note I
am <not>
saying that Dave should have....but theoretically he could have....)
and
over here anyway, Peter could easily have been fired for it.
Jesse did not receive crappy care....he had the associate chief
of surgery,
an experienced ER attending and a 3rd year resident....not to
mention
Peter....on the other hand, Elizabeth was only hours away from
paralyzing a
patient....Mark was suffering from an undiagnosed brain tumor....shit,
maybe
Cleo was right <g>
As for the cancer patient....she picked a crappy HMO.....and
pharmacies in 'white'
neighborhoods get robbed as well.....(my former local pharmacy -
allegedly
in a 'good' area - has a notice up saying they don't carry
narcotics,
presumably to stop people breaking in)
