| In July 2002 Van Hurd Jr. and David Purgason Jr. discussed the possibility of forming a go-kart racing team. With David being the driver. This team became a reality with the purchase of a 1996 Olimpic 007 go-kart racing chassis from Nall Racing.. On August 10th 2002 David run his first race at State Line Speedway in Lawsonville, NC. Since that first day David has raced at Riverside Speedway in Mayodan NC, Coleridge Speedway near Asheboro NC, Liberty Raceway Park in Liberty NC, and Woodleaf Speedway near Mocksville NC. David has also competed in two Indoor National races at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro NC, and Lawrence Joel Coliseum in Winston-Salem NC. |

| I was born June 13th 1990. I live in Stoneville, NC. My favorite Nascar driver is Matt Kenseth. I also enjoy video games. My current favorite games are Nascar Thunder and World of Outlaws Sprint Cars. | My other interests include Fishing, and Hunting.
