| Rachel's History | ||||||||||||
| Rachel was born in 1981 to Darrel and Beth Scott. She was a middle chiild with four other siblings. Bethanee, Dana, Criag and Mike. Even though she was in the middle, it didn't mean that she was never noticed. Not a person in the world could not pay attention to the girl who God shined on at all times. Growing up Rachel had some troubles that took place in her life before her death. The divorce of her parents took a big toll on her. When she was about 7-8 years old her mother , Beth, and father, Darrell, split up. It hit Rachel hard but, like me, didn't affect her relationship with anyone. When her mother remarried shortly after to a guy named Larry Nimmo, Rachel and the rest of her family lived with them and saw her father on the weekends. Her fathers profession was a Pastor/ Reverand. He raised all his children in the household with a love and respect for God. When Rachel was upset, confused or lost she would ask her f\ather for guidence and his opinion on things. He helped her out through many struggling times in her faith and life. She was a friend to all. Through her high school life she never judged anyone about who they were. She helped them. One time she made an attempt to try and help Dylan and Eric but that attempt failed. But not for her. Her light shined at all times and everyone who knew her agreed with that. She loved everyone and when someone was hurt or down she was there to bring them back up. Rachel was a true hero in many's eyes. Her journals showed who she really was and how she really felt. Her relationship with God and how God was part of her everyday life. He never took a backseat wiith him. Rachel guided other people because God guided her. Rachel is a true Savior. She died for God on April 20, 1999 by 3 bullets. Now she touches the life of millions by her journals, her faith, and her light. "Just passing by Just coming thru Not staying long I always knew This home I have Will never last" ---Rachel Joy Scott |
