| As far as I know this is what I know about myself... I am a Junior at Seymour High School. It's not the best place in the world but it's okay. There are worse places. Anyways... I was assigned to do this web page in my English 10 class. That's how all this started. I was inspired to read Rachel's tears by my play Regrets, which is about shool shootings. The play was dedicated to Rachel Joy Scott and the lead in the play, whom I'm friends with, read the book, told me it was really good. So I gave it a shot for my SSR class. Very inspiring. I'd love to say that I'm like Rachel, but I don't think anyone can be like her. Her love for God and people was so great. Se had so much energy, there wasn't anything that she couldn't persue if she put her mind to it. As you know I love to act. I have been in two plays my intire life (Since High School). Chateau La Roche and Regrets. I take acting classes within Seymour High School. I'm not the best student out there. My grades aren't too hot, but the important thing is I try right? Like Rachel my parents divorced when I was 7 years old too. It affected me, but I didn't let it get me down. Like her, I found ways to move on and love my step dad, just like she loved her step dad, Larry. So many things happen in your life. I just scratched the surface on me. But you aren't on this website to know about me, You're here to learn about Rachel Joy Scott. So take Rachel's legacy and add it into your every day life. BE THE CHANGE!!!! |
