As the season comes to an end there are many players calling it quits early in the season. Players like Allen Iverson, Tracy McGrady, Michael Finley and so on are getting less and less minutes. While some veterans rest rookies get there time to shine. Here are some of my top players and why
5. Marcus Banks- G- Boston Celtics
Could move up ahead of Steve Blake to number 2. Banks has been declared Bostons Future PG, averaging only 15 minutes in his last 5 games. He has put up 24pts, 7stls, 6 stls another night, and 5 ast as well. Banks may be a nice pickup for a team looking for good numbers other than in points, and rebounds.
4. Rodney White - SG/SF - Denver Nuggets
I dont think Rodney White has ever been added on any team this year. Its pretty amazing for someone that stays consistent, and leads the Free Agency in Scoring (Currently 2nd with Shandon Anderson 1st). A 6-9 SG/SF has been averaging 10pts in the last 5 games. And has scored over 10pts in 27 of 66 games this season
3. Jonathan Bender- F- Indiana Pacers
Has just been activated from IL, Bender is a nice addition to anyones team. Former member of the Diesel Ship. In Bender's last 3 games of 10+ minutes. Bender put up 15, 10, and 16pts. Averaging 11pts in his last 4 games. Bender is a scorer. But he does see limited minutes behind Reggie Miller, Ron Artest, and Al Harrington. If the minutes come. Bender will add some pts for your team
2. .Steve Blake- G- Washington Wizards
Truthfully he is not a top free agent pickup for he has not been playing well, but during the season Steve Blake has been a good option to look to if you have an injured PG. Blake has put up 11pts and 5 ast in 22minutes against the Bucks in his last game. And is coming off an injury. More Minutes and More Production will be in his future.
1. Keyon Dooling- G- Los Angeles Clippers
Keyon Dooling has been playing 40minutes a game recently. He should very well be on a basketball team this moment. Averaging 12pts 4ast and 2.4stls, Keyon has become the clippers starting point guard. He put up 20pts and 10 ast against the Pistons on March 31st against Larry Browns great defense. The only weakeness i see in him, is if he misses his first few shots, he disappears the rest of the game. Other wise he should be on a team. PICK HIM UP
