College
This section features my college buddies:)
I will always think of
college as the most unforgettable part of my life, because that was
when I met my boyfriend, Ryan (awww...) and RJ, the very best of my
friends.
RJ
This is RJ... I'd like to think of her as my soul sister, a kindred
spirit who knew me inside and out, understood how my mind works, and
someone who made life F-U-N. We were not always so close; in fact at
first I thought she was a snob (and she thought I was goody two
shoes), but when we got to know each other we found that we agree on
the same things (remember the saying bout birds of the same feather??),
and we simply understand each other. Up till now, I haven't found
anyone quite like her, which makes me miss her all the more (she's
busy with work and her guy ^_^). We try to keep in touch and see what
happens in each other's life every once in a while. Physically, she's
got the body of a model without having to do a scrap of exercise or
diet (so unfair!), and with looks to match her fab body (sorry guys
she's taken). She gives off an impression of being bitchy but as a
friend, you can never ask for anyone better (you owe me a lot for
this RJ).
Ryan
Now this, undoubtedly, is the single most important person
in my life! For me, he's the one. I guess I don't need to
emphasize how much I love him (it's kinda obvious anyway). I met him
just as I was about to start college (during the summer of 1997) and
we've been going steady since June of the same year (we're now 5
years and 10 months and still counting). Ours is a typical love story.
Boy meets girl, they fall in love, etc etc. (I think I don't need to
tell you I've been crushing on him before we met and, though he won't
admit it, he thinks I'm cute. Heehee). Hopefully
(God-willing), he's the one I'll end up with. Unfortunately, he left
for UAE last year (November) to work. This is why I always think of
college (and the first year of med) as my golden years, they were
simply the best years in my life (because he was with me. I think I
need a Kleenex ^_^). If you ask me why I fell for him, you better
brace yourself (I could go on and on about this topic). Physically, I
was really blown away, just looking at him made my knees weak, my
heart pound (you know how it goes). I didn't really know him that well
when we first got together, but later on I liked what I found out
about him. He takes care of me (has always been there when I need him.
Still is, just not in a physical way) and makes me happy. Aside from
which, he considers other people's feelings, knows how to get along
with others and respects my parents. From what I've said, it's obvious
that he's nice. His outlook is different, he's already more
responsible now, thinking of the future (ours ^__^) and is in fact
working for it. Best of all he can cook (and he thinks nothing of
helping with the dishes). That's enough for now...
(I was supposed to put in another
pic of my other friends in college, i.e. Jason, Knitz, Carmen and Lamae,
but I can't find any... so I guess it'll have to follow ^_^)

Vacation
Last summer, RJ and I (together
with her bf, his bro and a bunch of people from her office) went to
Baguio for a little break. Had a really great time! Went sight seeing
at Mines view, the flower farm, and basically just had fun.
