The Phallus in Every Day Life

• cost : $60
• This course aims to highlight the everyday oppression of women by phallic symbolism.
• Classes : Demystifying the Phallus; Rejecting Phallic Domination; Phallic Objects; Fellatio and How To Stop It; The Vagina as a Symbol of Feminine Power (1 hr each).
• Interaction : New Ways of Eating, Living and Loving Without A Phallus (30 mins each).

Being a True And Loving Womyn

• cost : $50 (please bring your own lunch)
• This course is for womyn who have been scarred by the world and who feel they have lost their feminine love and power. This course will help such womyn to regain their strength and essence to become beautiful and complete individuals again.
• Classes : Self-Empowerment; The Inner Womyn; Becoming Loving And True (1 hr each).
• Interaction : Reclaiming the Inner Womyn (2 hours).

Feminism for beginners

• cost : $75 (inc. 1 year free membership of Cedar Rapids Free Womyn!)
• This course teaches womyn new to feminism how to become a proper feminist.
• Classes : Aims of Feminism; Are You A Feminist Already?; Important Feminist Concepts; Feminism and Men; Feminism Today (1 hr each).
• Interaction : Statements of Feminism; Feminist Thinking (45 mins each).

Natural healing and herbal therapies                       NEW!

• cost : $60 (including oils and essential herbs)
• This course teaches womyn natural ways of healing that are non-harmful to Mother Earth. This is a very interactive course that tutors womyn to nurture their caring and healing personas.
• Classes : Healing the Goddess; Inner Healing; Essential Herbs (1 hr each).
• Interaction : Healing Hands; Herbs and Their Uses; Aromatherapy; Hypnotherapy (30 mins each).
• Note: the Center for Feminine Advancement holds daily healing sessions for members. These are separate to the Natural Healing and Herbal Therapies day course.

Reconciling feminism and heterosexuality

• cost : $125
• This course is for heterosexual womyn (and interested others) to discover a balance between feminist principles and heterosexual desires.
• Classes : Man as the Incomplete Womyn; Man as a Friend; Sex and Feminism; Is Penetration Anti-Feminist? (1 hr each).
• Discussion : Are All Men Bastards? (1 hr).
• Interaction : Conquering the Penis (1 hr).

The cost of the courses helps fund the day-to-day running of the Center. Cedar Rapids Free Womyn are committed to educating women and to providing help and information. None of the courses are run to make a profit.
