Merlot is the kind of doe that is really exciting to
own. She has that structure and type that can only improve with
age! Merlot excels in dairy character, with a long and clean neck
which blends smoothly into withers that are of nice prominence,
and possess a clean smooth set to the shoulder blades. Her bone
pattern is very long, flat and open. Merlot is also strong in
general appearance, with nice length and levelness to her topline,
and a desirable rump structure.
Merlot's udder is of
good quality, with excellent skin texture. It is high and wide in
the rear, with good lateral attachment. Her teats are ideal, as
is the strength and definition of the medial suspensory ligament.
