Thank you for your interest in Cedar Glen Nubians. Our herd is a
source of great pride, and was developed from a fairly
concentrated focus on the Fra-Jac's, Fez, & Faith Farm
bloodlines. It reflects with consistency, those qualities deemed
desirable in the ideal Dairy doe- STYLE, STRUCTURE & SUBSTANCE,
LONGEVITY, and above all- PRODUCTION.
Indeed our Shadow Vale Sun Chaser *M VG88
is Canada's top scoring Nubian for 2003 in an official one day
milk test with a score of 27.49 points.
Our herd tests CAE Negative, and we are also CL free.
Kids are raised apart from the adult herd and a regular worming
program, combined with quality feed ensures a high standard of
healthy growth.
This year we are grateful to Daniel Lawton of
Blue
Thunder Nubians in Calgary, AB for allowing
+*B Regehr's Alginon's Ace AI 3EX, to stand at stud at Cedar
Glen Farm. The quality of Ace's offspring speaks for him- many of
the top performing does in this country reflect his prepotency as
a sire of merit. Most of Cedar Glen's 2004 kids will be sired by
Ace.
As they freshen, and pictures become available, we will
be introducing the other half of our herd, and we think you will
like them as much as we do- for their style and elegance, their
tremendous mammary systems and breed character. These girls are
from the well-known Gra-Vi-Way herd, and are line bred using New
Ara's Offkey Persistence as a foundation sire.
Prices quoted are for first choice kid, and include CGS
registration & transfer. We do ask for a 25% deposit on all kids,
with balance due prior to shipping. In order to keep our numbers
at a manageable level, all kids will be offered for sale unless
otherwise stated. Our kids fly out of Victoria International
