Senators game tonight (woo-hoo!) and another on Saturday, the last two games we bought tickets for this season.  I've been enjoying them a lot more than I thought; it's a totally different experience than watching on tv.  I even think I know what 'icing' means now.

Work is getting pretty stressful; end of March is end of fiscal year around here, and there's all kinds of projects that need to be wrapped up.  If it was on my shoulders to get things done I'd feel okay about it, but instead it's coming down to how fast translation, layout and printers can turn things around.  It's a bit like sitting in the passenger seat, knowing you can drive the damn thing perfectly fine and get to where you're going on time, but the real drivers keep exchanging, taking coffee breaks, driving in the slow lane, etc.

I'm getting more and more ambitious about this web site now.  Originally I figured I'd write once, maybe twice a week, but I've taken twenty minutes out of my day nearly every day since I started.  Sometimes I know what topic I want to bring up; other times like now I just sit down and type.  It's a bit of a stress reliever, just talking to myself like this.  Uh-oh....

I'll have to set up a links page pretty soon, there's lots of other cool discoveries I want to share.  I was visiting Absolut Chrissy again last night and clicked through links to some of her friends, several of which are even more impressive.  I'm feeling pretty behind the times now, sitting here with this Geocities template and all.  Those sites were my inspiration, and now I'm feeling inspired to consider changing my look into something snazzier.  Thing is, I want to keep it simple to maintain at the same time, so I have to work within the limitations of this Yahoo Pagebuilder program.  It has some neat gizmos on it, but there's only so much configuring you can do to them looks-wise, and i tend to be a wee bit particular about how things look where web pages are concerned.  Maybe I'll mess around this weekend and see what I come up with.

I'm seeing a lot of diary sites that just plunk the diary part inside a frame, but they only write a paragraph or two where I'd rather fill up the page (see, I've just about met my quota already, only another line or two to go).   Just got an e-mail I've been waiting for, back to work (lunch hour or not....)
