Q: Why don't you update your site anymore?
I've lost my ability to do so at work (thanks, firewall), and my connection at home is your basic modem situation which constantly crashes on me. So I consider this site retired until circumstances change, which I don't expect will be anytime soon.
Q: Are you still keeping any sort of diary in the meantime?
I do maintain a written one, that is sort of an extended letter from myself to LA which I make entries in now and then. I presented her with the first full journal last week, and I've started the second one. It hasn't really been a journal to capture my personal thoughts and feelings so much, although it's beginning to evolve. It definitely won't be made public.
Q: In that case, since we won't be hearing from you for a while, at least update us as of today.
LA and I continue to live happily together in our new (well, not so new now) apartment. I'm changing up the kind of work I do, but I still work at the same place (nope, not telling you where). Still reading, trying to get my novel polished, attending a writing critique group, playing too many video games, and hanging out with friends as much as I can. I'm looking forward to seeing all my family again at Thanksgiving.
Q: Any new web sites you'd like to link to?
I just attempted to, but the browser crashed again and I don't feel like making the effort a second time. http://www.atariage.com has brought back some memories, and there's a cool 'Image of the Day' at the NASA site.
Q: How do you rate your Geocities experience?
It's been good to me. Wish I could copy and paste, though. Also wish it didn't crash so often, but it's probably not their fault.
Q: Any parting (for now) thoughts?
You'll still find me at Writer's BBS (link from here, somewhere) and I'll check the Yahoo mail account now and then. Be good, and we'll see you again some time.
