Hank Blalock #9 3B Born: November 21, 1980 California Height: 6'1'' Weight 200 MLB Debut: 4/01/2002
2006 Outlook After a crazy offseason in which Hank was nearly traded to Florida for pitching, Hank hopes to have a season similar to his 2004 campaign. The all-star third basemen, is a strong gold glove candidate and should be good for at least 30 homeruns this season.

Hitting When Hank Blalock makes contact, his violent swing punishes the ball. He can hit the ball to all fields, though he has started trying to pull everything home where the short proch favors lefties. He is still making adjustments to facing left handing pitches, and has a carrer home average of (.315) which is ridicously hight than his road average of (.242). So hopefully that will improve. Defense Hank's defense often gets overlooked because he is on a lesser known baseball team and is such a talanted hitter, but he has a way above average arm and reacts very well to the ball. He definitly has the potential to be a gold glove third baseman for many many years to come.
