My name is Carolyn, I am a
55 year
old married woman. I have two natural children 5 stepchildren, and 4 grand
children. I am morbidly obese. This is the story of my journey to WLS surgery
and beyond. I will keep this Web Site and my Journal updated regularly though out my surgery and the first
year, so that others who make this journey can benefit from my experiences. This is not to
say that we will all have the same experiences. You will see throughout the WLS (weight
loss surgery) site the initials YMMV (this means your mileage may vary). The WLS
Pictures will show my weight loss progress and the Journal will describe how the
