BIRD IN THE HAND
Fraser's arch nemesis, Gerard, manages to escape the clutches of the police and is on the loose in Chicago. Fraser finds him (and despite his obvious will to kick the life out of Gerard), and gives Gerard his word that he will protect him from whoever it is who wants to kill him.
"So, how's your leg?"
"Fine."
"Is that the same leg that they shot you in the last time?"
"Yes."
"The same leg they stabbed you in?"
"Yes, Ray."
"Does your country give you a medal for getting wounded like that?"
"No, not that I'm aware of."
"Then I think you should have this."
"Please shoot the other leg... Now that's just not amusing, Ray."
