My job is surreal

Speaking to an X-Ray technician:
"I need you to replace the starter motor in my car, and I will give you all the tools you need to do the job, which is this package of bacon. Thanks! Can I have that done by tomorrow?"
My job is like that. They're asking the wrong person, albeit one willing to try, and then cluelessly giving me the wrong information to determine the answer. Of course it takes me a while to figure this out. By then they're gone and thinking I have it all under control.
But the voices say I am still sane, so I guess everything is cool.
