Effect: A spectator cuts the deck freely into four piles, and then through dealing separates the four aces.
Method: 1. Beforehand, put the four aces on top of the deck and then one other card. The order of the cards from the top to the bottom of the deck should be as follows: one indifferent card, ace, ace, ace, ace. 2. Now when it comes time to perform, put the set deck on the table and have the spectator cut the deck into four equal piles in a straight line. Keep track of the pile with the aces and make sure that it ends up being one of the end piles. 3. Ok now that you know which end of the four piles contains the aces, tell the spectator to pick up the pile on the oppisite end. 4. Have the spectator deal from the top of the pile one card face down onto the table and one on top of each pile. Then have them put the pile back down on top of the card they dealt on the table. 5. Now have the spectator pick up the pile next to the first one and have them deal two cards face down onto the table, and then one on top of each other pile. Then have them put the pile back down on top of the two cards they dealt onto the table. 6. Next have the spectator pick up the pile next to the second one and have the spectator deal three cards face down onto the table from the top of the pile. And then one on top each other pile. Then have them put the deck back on top of the three cards they dealt onto the table. 7. Now have them pick up the pile next to the third one, this is the last pile and contains the four aces. Have the spectator deal four cards face down onto the table from the top of the pile and then on on top of each other pile. Now have the spectator put the cards back down on top of the four cards they dealt onto the table. 8. Have the spectator flip over the top card of each pile to reveal that the four aces where "cut" (and dealt) by the spectator.
Comments: This is a great beginners trick and is self working. I would recomend doing some false shuffles in the beginning of the trick to make it look even better. |
