Real Name: Kevin Drozdick
The Meteor is one of the most successful BBA members of all time. His fate was sealed in the first ever BBA main event when after being defeated by Calypso, showed his good-sportsmanship by shaking his hand. They would go on to create the most powerful stable in BBA history, C-X. Along with his tag-team partner Calypso, The Meteor and Calypso dominated the BBA tag-team division. They became the first ever BBA World Tag-Team Champions in a victory over the make-shift tag-team of The Arch Angel and Bucktooth Willy. Crazy Joe would join the ranks of C-X, and the 3-person-alliance would go on to rule all aspects of the early days of BBA. The Meteor and Calypso would go on to lose the Tag-Team Titles to Forsaken (Arch Angel and Crazy Joe), before the titles were vacated, and Calypso and The Meteor were tag-team champions again.
The Meteor was also an accomplished singles wrestler besides his success in C-X. He became the second ever World Heavyweight Champion, when he defeated Calypso. He would go on to lose the World Title to future C-X member, Crazy Joe. He was also briefly the World Television Champion during the summer of 2000, when he captured the title from The Arch Angel. During that reign, he had three BBA championships (Intercontinental, TV, and Tag-Team). He would go on to lose the championship, but perhaps his greatest achievement was his Intercontinental Title reigns.
The Meteor may be considered the greatest BBA Intercontinental Champion of all time. He became the first ever BBA Intercontinental Champion at the first BBA event when he defeated Bucktooth Willy. After losing the title to Calypso, The Meteor would regain the IC title and perhaps start one of the greatest series of matches for the IC title with the Arch Angel. The Meteor and The Arch Angel would go on to trade off IC Title reigns back-and-forth in unique and hardcore matches. Their love of cardboard boxes would escalate into the creation of a B.O. Match (box only) at Please Forgive Me 2000.
The Meteor's career began as soon as the BBA began. His stay was not as long as you may have expected, as he wrestled his last BBA match in mid-2001. Fittingly, his last BBA matchup was against his Tag-Team partner, Calypso. It was a fitting farewell for The Meteor, as earlier in that night, Calypso and The Meteor would go on to regain the World Tag-Team Championships. Calypso and The Meteor shook hands before the match, and Calypso defeated his tag-team friend. They put on a classic, truely the best departure in BBA history. Calypso held The Meteor's hand up in respect. The Meteor will always be remembered to BBA faithful as dedicated, reliable, and responsible. Seriously.
