Blood...Sweat...Tears...Whatever it takes. Although Calypso has always been in search of a good quote, he has proven to be one of, if not the greatest BBA Superstar. Although his former tag-team partner, The Meteor, had retired from action in early 2001, Calypso still managed to get the job done. He has battled them all, from the early days against The Arch Angel, to the more recent with Real Deal Rob. The Former World Champ has proven that he is a risk taker. He took one of the most famous falls in the BBA when he was sent off the roof of the Dixon House Of Pain against the veteran Bucktooth Willy, and then against John Hanley and Real Deal Rob. He is only the second GRAND SLAM wrestler in the BBA. He obtained all the titles (excluding the short-lived World Lightweight Title) including the World Championship on four occasions.

In the early days of Calypso's career, Calypso was focused on only one thing in the BBA: The World Heavyweight Championship. He defeated many BBA Superstars in world title contests including "The Arch Angel" Johnny Shotgun, The Meteor, Crazy Joe, BTOF, Khaos Kid, Bucktooth Willy, Impostor, among others. He went on to win the World Heavyweight Title in his very first match, defeating The Meteor, Bucktooth Willy, and BTOF. His first title reign didn't last as long as expected, as he lost to fellow C-X member: The Meteor. The World Title went on to switch hands to Crazy Joe and Calypso seized his opportunity and defeated the "Crazy Mother Fucker" for his second World Title Reign.

Calypso's second title reign, like his first, didn't last too long. Calypso was defending his World Heavyweight Title against The Arch Angel, and the newly debuted Impostor interfered and screwed Calypso out of the World Title. Calypso battled for weeks to try and take out the Impostor, who ended up being named the Special Guest Referee at the PPV's Main Event between the champion, Arch Angel and the challenger, Calypso. Thanks to the help of Bucktooth Willy and fellow C-X Member (The Meteor), Calypso managed to regain the World Heavyweight Title at BBA Please Forgive Me.

Calypso's third title reign ended up being one of the longest World Title reigns in BBA history. He held the title throughout the end of 2000 and into 2001. He held the title into the Summer when he surprisingly lost it to Arch Angel yet again on a typical Sunday Massacre. Calypso regained the title quickly, and now was the ONLY 4x BBA World Heavyweight Champion. Calypso held the World Title for another impressive streak, until he lost it in late summer to The Arch Angel (in what actually was the show after that debuted "The Franchise" John Hanley).

Throughout the 4 World Title Reigns, Calypso proved that he was more than capable of holding more than one title. Early in the BBA's early months, Calypso and The Meteor teamed up to create the most historic factions in BBA History: C-X. Along with Crazy Joe, C-X dominated everything in the early stages of the BBA. Calypso and Meteor defeated Bucktooth Willy and The Arch Angel to become the BBA's first Tag-Team Champions. The tag-team portion of CX never really met any challenges, as they cruised through all of their opponents. They did however, meet their match when they battled a mystery team at BBA Please Forgive Me. They were defeated by the new Tag Team Champions in Crazy Joe and Arch Angel. C-X had a difficult time regaining the titles, as they lost the only BBA B.L.C. Match in an unsuccessful shot at the World Tag-Team titles. Eventually C-X got their rematch for the World Tag Team Titles in which they beat The Arch Angel and Bucktooth Willy for the then vacant Tag-Team belts.

Calypso also was the third ever BBA Intercontinental Championship in a victory over Bucktooth Willy. Calypso's IC Title reign was rather lengthy, although it was tainted. In a backstage altercation with Tonka and Meteor, Calypso injured his ankle in the middle of his IC Title reign. Calypso remained champion for a couple of months until he was able to compete again. He ended up losing the title to fellow C-X Member, The Meteor.

Calypso also had 3 reigns as Hardcore Champion. First he defeated Bucktooth Willy and Arch Angel, but the 24/7 Title Defenses took its toll on Calypso. Calypso went on to lose the Hardcore Title to Bucktooth Willy in the historic match where Calypso and Crazy Joe were thrown of the roof of the Dixon House of Pain. Calypso would once again become Hardcore Champion, minutes after fellow C-X partner Crazy Joe lost the title to Bucktooth Willy. Calypso's victory came up as a surprise as it was just weeks before the PPV Please Forgive Me. Calypso ended up losing the Hardcore Title at Please Forgive Me when he defended the title against four other Superstars. Calypso would remain out of the Hardcore division, until M80 was crowned the Hardcore Champion. Calypso ended up defeating M80 for the Hardcore strap, and had some decent encounters with M80 and the Impostor. Calypso announced that after months of being the Hardcore Champion, he would vacate the title as it was evident that no one could beat him.

Long after losing the World Title for what was the last time, Calypso set his mind on one thing, the only title he had not previously had. That was the World Television Championship. After witnessing The Impostor defeat Firestarter for the World TV Title, Calypso set his mark on becoming a BBA Grand Slam Champion. Being the underdog at BBA Backyard Assault, Calypso pulled the upset against the Impostor to win the World Television Champion. Calypso would eventually hold the title in what was the most famous World TV Title reigns. Calypso battled everybody from Firestarter, to Flawless, to Real Deal Rob. It appeared that no one could stop Calypso's TV Title reign. Network Leader, Rob Sternberg, on the other hand did not like this one bit. The Network took out Calypso after a match at the Radzicki Fieldhouse. Injuring his ankle, Calypso was forced to relinquish the World TV Title at the next show for the fans. After weeks of not being able to compete, Calypso announced that he would participate at the grand-daddy-of-em-all Realm of Champions, and would take on the champion Johnny Shotgun for the World TV Title. After all of the brutal rehabbing, Calypso was able to pull off the victory and win back the World TV Title that he never lost. Bent on ridding Calypso of the World TV Title, Rob Sternberg weeks later retired the World TV Title and thus ending Calypso's second World Television Title reign.

Part of Sternberg's plan in introducing the United States Heavyweight Championship was to replace the World Television Championship that Calypso held. After what seemed to be months after Calypso shocked the world when he and M80 reformed cX and turned his back on the fans, the US Title was finally in the hands of Calypso. After what seemed to be another long title reign, Calypso lost the title to the young rookie of Backlash Brady.

Calypso has quite the PPV track-record. Despite losing two earlier matches on the card, Calypso would be victorious in the main event of Please Forgive Me. Backyard Assault would see Calypso upset the heavily favored Impostor. New Year's Nightmare saw Calypso and Real Deal Rob fight to a draw. Realm of Champions saw Calypso defeat Johnny Shotgun in a sudden death 2 out of 3 Falls Match. Hotter Than Hell then saw Calypso defeat Firestarter in another 2 of 3 Falls Match. Total Carnage's main event featured Calypso beating "The Franchise" John Hanley. BBA's last ever Pay-Per-View, Real of Champions II, Calypso defeated Real Deal Rob to settle the score for good. Despite losing a couple of undercard matches (plus a draw), Calypso always seemed to turn it up come PPV time.

Calypso was one of the most successful superstars in BBA History. Not only the many title reigns, but Calypso was involved in the most capturing storylines that BBA had to offer. Whether it was the two incidents where he was thrown off the roof of the DHoP, or the feud with The Network, to the constant ankle injured comebacks, to the two eras of C-X, to being known as the man that represented all that was the Backyard Brawlers Association.
