Big Tub Of Fat (or better known as BTOF) had a short, yet mildly successful wrestling career. He was a part of the first Hardcore Championship and World Heavyweight Championship matches in early 2000 (losing both). BTOF would manage to defeat The Meteor for his first victory, and the chance to fight for the World Television Championship. The match was set to have Calypso take on BTOF for that very title, but Calypso's faulty ankle would delay that match until a future date.

BTOF would go on to take on Bucktooth Willy for the Hardcore Championship and become the second Hardcore Champion in BBA history. The importance of this match is the aftermath, as BTOF would declare the Hardcore Title will be defended "24[hours a week]/7[days a week]". He would lose the title several minutes later, only to regain it the same very day...cashing in on the 24/7 Defense rules that stayed in effect until mid 2001. BTOF would go on to lose the BBA Hardcore Championship a couple shows later to Bucktooth Willy. He would form a mini alliance with Bucktooth Willy after that match, dubbed the "Chris & Chris Connection".

Unfortunately, dedication and wrestling skills were not looking so great for BTOF, as he was released from his BBA contract, thus ending BTOF's wrestling days.

But, that would not be the last we hear from BTOF, as he made a special appearance at BBA's first ever PPV, Please Forgive Me. In his special announcement, BTOF proclaimed that The Impostor's identity would no longer be a secret, and he will find out who it was. Calypso did not take him too seriously, and he offered a challenge to BTOF: if he could unmask the Impostor before the night ended, then BTOF would be named the first BBA Commissioner.

Calypso would go on to challenge for the World Heavyweight Title against The Arch Angel, with special guest referee: The Impostor. The Impostor tried to make sure it was a fair match (something Impostor would not normally do), but in the end Bucktooth Willy and the Meteor interfered to help Calypso regain the gold. For no reason The Impostor Chokeslammed both Arch Angel & Calypso after the match. The Impostor would walk in front of the camera, unmask himself to reveal that The Impostor is no one other than BTOF! BTOF has technically "unmasked" the Impostor, thus making him the BBA Commissioner.

Commissioner BTOF would make his first Commish appearance at Friday Night Destruction in late 2000. He would schedule a match not in favor of Calypso, and thus starting the reign of questionable decisions. There was still some speculation regarding the question of if BTOF and Impostor were one in the same. He was known for placing Calypso, Arch Angel, among others in several challenging title defenses, and also for creating the one and old BLC Match (Boxes, Ladder, & Chairs) between C-X and Forsaken. BTOF would be regularly seen in the Commish's "throne" inside the Dixon House of Pain making his daily decisions throughout early 2001.

BTOF would also go on to strip Khaos Kid of the World Television Championship, and retire it. He began booking cards in the favor of Calypso, and all was looking fine for the BBA Commissioner. It was also revealed that BTOF and Impostor were not in fact the same person, as they appeared in a backstage segment together. That all went downhill, as BTOF booked Calypso in a World Title defense against his arch (no pun intended) rival, The Arch Angel [in which Calypso dropped the title]. Calypso and BTOF were involved in a backstage scuffle due to BTOF behavior at a BBA tapings, and Calypso supposedly "spit" in the face of BTOF and told him to get the fuck out of the show. Calypso was looking for any reason to rid himself of this "cancer" in the BBA locker room.

Mike Savage would retire from his wrestling career too, and would develop an interest in becoming BBA Commissioner himself. On the other side, Calypso would win the World Title back, only to be stripped of the title because of the controversy surrounding his victory by BTOF. To try and make it up to Calypso, he would give him a title match (in which he later won) against the Impostor. Savage would come in and challenge BTOF for his Commissionership job. Calypso would grant that match between BTOF and Savage, and BTOF would lose the job as BBA Commissioner in mid 2001.

BTOF was released from his BBA contract again, and more controversy would surround the former Hardcore Champion. He would go on to sign a deal with the rival Oceanside Wrestling Federation (OWF) under the alias "Chris Diamond". The OWF website would announce the "blockbuster" deal that had rocked the local backyard wrestling scene, as BTOF has jumped ship. Calypso would become infuriated, as BTOF promised OWF that he would wrestle (something he did not willingly want to do in BBA). He would go on to lose a couple of matches as Chris Diamond, and was later quickly released from his OWF contract when OWF Owner Rob Sternberg realized his "blockbuster" deal was in fact a "lackluster" deal.

BTOF would try to make two unsuccessful returns to BBA. At the PPV Backyard Assault, BTOF made a surprise appearance and called out Calypso to regain his job as BBA Commissioner. Calypso would hit the ring, and cut a shoot on "Chris Diamond", telling him that everybody doesn't like him. Every BBA superstar would come to the ring, surround BTOF, and beat the everlasting shit out of him. BBA Superstars like Arch Angel, Calypso, M80, among others were fighting alongside former OWF superstars like Viper, Firestarter, and Biohazard to take out BTOF for his BBA/OWF bullshit. Mike Savage would go on to easily defeat BTOF to retain the Commissioner job. BTOF's other attempt to return happened in the summer of 2002. There was a scheduled triple threat to take place with former BBA superstars Crazy Joe, The Meteor, and BTOF. BTOF would cut a promo, telling Meteor and Crazy Joe that he would win the match and would win the BBA contract awarded to the victor. Unfortunately, the triple threat match never took place...and BTOF would not return to the Backyard Brawlers Association.

Big Tub of Fat's wrestling achievements were nothing to brag about. But he brought the much needed comedy aspect to the BBA in his ring entrance, funny promos, Commissionership work, and his ability to admit that he was a little overweight. Perhaps BTOF could have developed into a better BBA wrestler, but his controversial tactics cost him his job twice in the BBA, and even in the OWF. We hear that BTOF has now lost a lot of weight since BBA ended in 2003, good job kid.
