Walkthrough

Here we will present how to get through each mission in the single player mode.

 Mission 1 -Going Down Hard

The first mission is an easy one. You have to destroy a bunch of infantry and take a base.

Mechs: Cougar - only available

Verify the condition of your Mech and secure the area

First you are going to want to test your jump jets, so use them to cross the river. You're going to encounter some infantry but they can't do anything, so blast them, or simply run over them. As you move forward a cliff will be in your path, use your jump jets  to get over this. Ahead lies a small outpost.

Destroy all structures at the small base

This is pretty simple, as soon as you see the buildings start shooting at them, and collect the salvage. After destroying the base, move towards the cliff, run over some more infantry and you'll have your second objective.

Destroy the Convoy

Use your javelin missiles or upgraded lasers if you have good aim to fire at the tanks guarding the supply trucks. Try to stay on the cliff, as you'll take less damage that way. When you've cleared out all the tanks or they're out of sight, hop down and chase after the supply truck with lasers. Lots of salvage to be had here also. After you destroy the convoy you'll be right in your next objective.

Destroy the Infantry base and its support tunnel.

The first thing you'll want to focus on is the Turrets, you can stay out of
their range and launch missiles at them, or you can run in and shoot them. You
won't take any damage firing from a distance so that is what's best. There is
two on the support tunnel and two or three on the actual infantry base, and
you'll also encounter a few more tanks. Now, blow up everything in the support
tunnels walls, make sure you pick up any salvage left behind.

Now as you go to enter the Infantry base, power armor suits will come at you. These guys are super annoying, but not terribly tough. Missiles are the easiest weapon to destroy them with, especially when they are on the ground, as once they go flying it can be difficult to lock on
to them.

Best to stand at the gates, and launch missiles at them, if you go inside the gates, they can hide behind buildings,  you can easily blast them with tracking missiles in the open. If you need health there is two buildings in the close right hand side of the base, it's not the first building, but the two small ones, one of them contains a health pickup. After you knock out the power armor, take out the largest building in the back of the base, it's the HQ building.

Mission 2 -  Suffer the Silence

Here you have to take down a comm. center and its defenders. Still pretty
simple.

Mechs: Cougar, Puma
Blink used: Cougar. Although the Puma has PPCs, I liked the missiles and lasers
on the Cougar better.
Buddha used: Cougar.

Defeat any and all forces supporting and defending the communications array
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Move forward and you'll encounter two tanks. Destroy them. Infantry are ahead,
simply step on them. At the bridge, use your missile to take out the tanks on
the opposite shore, and use machine guns or laser to kill the infantry. Do not
step on the bridge because it can be destroyed. When the tanks are destroyed,
cross the water to the other shore and destroy the remaining infantry and any
tanks if necessary, and then destroy the supply tunnel to the left. Collect any
salvage, move forward and you will be attacked by some power armor and
infantry. You can use your new PPCs, although I recommend just using missiles.
Going further down the road, destroy the tank and turret. Look to your left to
find another turret, and destroy any military forces in this outpost. There is
health savage in one of the buildings if you need it. Hover east across the
water and land on the dock. Move onto the field and destroy the turrets and the
tanks moving out of the base to the north. Go towards the yellow arrow on your
radar and you will encounter one Mech, an Owens.

Buddha says: Before you go into the fight against the Owens, there is two
health pick ups (one's in a building across from the one that's in the open) in
the base before the comm base. Pick up one if you need it. When the battle
starts go back to the previous base and fire missiles. As he gets close back
up into the base and keep firing missiles. If he gets close, use the pulse
lasers on him. Make sure you stay close to the health so you can pick it up if
you need it.

Blink's Strat: For this battle, I was using a Cougar, so I used mainly missile
to fire at him. Fire a bit at the Owens, then fly into the northern base and
destroy the buildings for salvage. With more health and upgraded weapons, this
battle becomes a lot easier. I also got the Owens stuck on the hill entering
the base, making it easier to fire at him.

Enter the southern base and destroy the infantry inside. Go towards the hill
with the communications array and destroy the turrets and it. Health is
everywhere in this base so there shouldn't be a problem.

Mission 3 - Friends Indeed

You find out the Word of Blake is running this planet and decide to help the local resistance after a communication is recieved. This is the first challenging level.

Mechs: Cougar, Puma
The Mech battle in the end makes the PPC necessary.
Buddha used: Cougar. It has heavier all around weapons.

Destroy all enemy forces you come across

A few tanks and helicopters await you across the bridge. Missiles are best for
destroying helicopters. Move across the bridge and face an Uller. Basically
just follow it while firing missiles and lasers. Hop across the islands and
you'll land in an air base where an ambush awaits. Destroy the Uller, but watch
out for his chaff. Now face the power armors. With lots of buildings to hide
behind, these guys are very annoying, so you have to fire missiles at them
while they are in the sky. The good thing about this airbase is in every hanger
there are about two powerups, so grab those before you leave.

Head northwest towards the arrow on your radar, and destroy the turret on your right. As you
step onto the bridge, an Owens comes out. Fire at him while backing straight up, then kill him, collect the salvage, and cross the bridge into the outpost again. Destroy the tanks and power armor and move north.

Wipe out the forces occupying the city

There is an Owens and a uller that want to fight you here. Take them out.

Buddha says: Run out into the river, and take them on one at a time if you can.
It's easier to move in the river without things in the way. I like to take out
the Owens first, as it has heavier weapons.

Blink's Strat: I used a Puma for this. Destroy any remaining tanks or Power
Armor. Try and focus on one Mech, then collect his salvage health and get the
other one. Fully charge the PPC and use it, then cycle to missiles, fire, then
back to the PPC. Do this two or three times, then finish him off with missiles.

Kill any tanks you find left.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
7.5 - Mission 4 - Dry Me Out
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

In this mission you take out the Hand of Blake's air bases. With lots of
helicopters this can get annoying.

Mechs: Cougar, Puma, Uziel
Blink used: Uziel. You can never go wrong with double PPCs.
Buddha used: Uziel.

Take out the enemy's tank depot
-------------------------------
Head forward and to the left, taking out the turret on the hill. Run over any
infantry you see, and go north towards the tank depot. Take out any tanks you
encounter on the way there and the turrets protecting the depot. This depot
spawns tanks, so focus on razing it first and then killing the tanks. Fly
northeast over the water to the airfield. Missile or PPC the planes on the
ground and in the hangers (make sure to collect salvage) and kill the
helicopters flying by.

Take out the helicopter depot overlooking the docks
---------------------------------------------------
Move east to the drawbridge and destroy the control tower. Missile the turrets
by the base, and move in. An Uziel confronts you. Use your PPCs, cycling
between missiles too. Go back inside the base and collect the health that's
right inside. Move forward and look east, and use your missile on two more
turrets. Some helicopters fly by, and once again use your missile on them. Move
into the base and on your left is the chopper depot. Like the tank depot, this
one spawns helicopters, so take it out fast. PPCs and Missiles work best. Make
sure to hit it on every side or else it will not go down.

Destroy the mysterious hanger
-----------------------------
Move south towards the hanger and raze it. Once it is destroyed, two Blake
BattleMechs, an Uller and a Kit Fox, come out.

Buddha says: Make sure you kill everything that may cause you some damage in
this fight, also be sure to destroy all of the buildings in the area. It'll be
easier to back off without things in the way. Then you'll want to destroy the
building with a PPC shot or two from a distance. Enemy Mechs have a terrible
time shooting at distances, hit them with PPC until they get too close, then
switch to lasers and finish them off.

Blink's Strat: Using Uziel, PPC, PPC, and PPC. Again, focus on one and then
collect his salvage. Lead them outside in the grass so they cannot hide. Watch
out for Chaff.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
7.6 - Mission 5 - Sailing Away
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Here you have to move through the water and destroy the Hand of Blake's barges
that are carrying the parts to an orbital gun. A very easy mission with the
Gauss Rifle.

Mechs: Beliel, Cougar, Puma, Uziel
Blink used: Beliel, pretty much have to because of its Gauss rifle.
Buddha used: Beliel, the gauss rifle kills the boats in one hit.

Sink the barges being used to transport parts for the orbital guns
------------------------------------------------------------------
Right away, use the gauss rifle to sink one boat. Move forward and sink a
second. Once around the bend sink the first barge. At the second bridge, sink
the boat, destroy the two turrets, and sink the next boat. Move around the
corner and sink the second barge. Sink the third barge under the drawbridge,
and a Mech(Kit fox?) comes out. Use your missiles and gauss rifle on him, and
watch out for his null signature. Move into the city on the left bank, and
cross through and enter the river again. Sink the fourth, fifth, and sixth
barges and move onto the left shore to face a battalion of tanks and a Beliel.

Buddha says: First, blast the tanks, they should all go down with one gauss
shot, then run up and gauss the Mech. If you start to overheat, switch to the
lasers and finish him off.

Blink's Strat: Destroy the turrets on the bridge down river, and gauss the
tanks from a distance. Use the missiles and your Gauss on the Beliel, but be
careful because he moves a lot. Don't forget your lasers either.

Pick up the salvage and move across to the other shore. Head northwest to take
out to more barges.

Sink all escort craft
---------------------------
Just one left past the drawbridge, Gauss him and you get to view a video of
your comrades dieing.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
7.7 - Mission 6 - Catnap
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Kidnap a Mad Cat from the Hand of Blake and defend the Icarus.

Mechs: Beliel, Cougar, Puma, Uziel
Blink used: Beliel. Gauss Rifles and quick fire missiles
Buddha used: Beliel. The quick kills of the gauss rifle help against the huge
amount of tanks.

Secure our LZ
-------------
Here you have to defend the Icarus from some tanks that come to attack. Use
your missiles or Gauss Rifle and just keep circling around the Icarus. Once the
Uziel shows up, PPC or Gauss it, and use a steady stream of missiles too.
Always watch out for the helicopters and use your missiles on them.

Stop the WOB convoy and recover the Mad Cat
-------------------------------------------
Head east. Cross the river at the flat section and destroy the tanks while
heading north in the valley. Keep your eye out for turrets on the hills also.
You then will run into another Uziel; again use your PPCs or Gauss rifle. Kill
the tanks ahead but do not try to destroy the concrete turrets, but simply run
through them. Once inside the town, take out any tanks and turrets that you
see, and head towards the arrow on your radar. Destroy the vehicles in the
convoy.

Enemy Mechs incoming. Intercept them.
-------------------------------------
The Mechanic, Foster, will come to take the Mad Cat. So will two Uziels and
some
tanks.

Buddha says: Try to use guerilla tactics here, keep an eye on the radar, and
when the two Mechs split, jump out from behind the buildings and blast them
with a shot from your gauss rifles, then jump back behind the buildings. Keep
doing this until one is destroyed, then collect the salvage, and take on the
other one.

Blink says: There should be some health salvage from the convoy if you need it,
but I'd recommend waiting until you are low on health to pick it up. Use your
Gauss and aim to knock them down if you can. Fire a continuous stream of
missiles, but beware of chaff. They mainly use PPCs but aim badly, and getting
close to them will help you to avoid it. One should arrive first, focus on him
and take the salvage then take on the other.

The enemy HQ is near the city. Level the entire base.
-----------------------------------------------------
The base consists of a helicopter and a tank depot which you should focus on
first, some turrets, a hanger, and some other small buildings. Raze them all
and you're done.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
7.8 - Mission 7 - Catnap II
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Here you just defend the Icarus from tanks and a few Mechs and receive help
from the Mech you used in Catnap.

Mechs: Mad Cat
Blink and Buddha used: Mad Cat. Only one available, but still very useful with
quad rockets and dual PPCs.

Secure our LZ
-------------
Using the Mad Cat, missile any tanks you see and use the PPCs to attack the
Mechs. Don't worry if the other Mech gets destroyed, as it doesn't count
against you. After you kill the second enemy Mech and any remaining helicopters
or tanks, mission complete. Very simple, no strategy needed.

Buddha says: The first time I played this mission, after killing everything, it
didn't register that I had beaten it. I then killed the other Mech (foster)
and it registered.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
7.9 - Mission 8 - Bright Lights, Dark City
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Your mission is to take out the nuclear reactor, throwing the city into
darkness and making it easier to attack.

Mechs: Mad Cat
Blink and Buddha used: Mad Cat. Again, only choice.

Destroy the twin bridges to slow down enemy forces
--------------------------------------------------
Fire missiles and PPCs at the bridges and their supports to destroy them. There
are also numerous tanks and turrets in the area. Try to attack them form a
distance.

Wipe out the defender to stop them form regrouping behind you
-------------------------------------------------------------
Go south into the city and you will see tanks roaming the streets, each with an
indicator arrow over their head. Wipe them all out along with any turrets you
find, and you'll see two Pumas step out of a gate. They are back on the other
side of the river. Be careful, as they have null signature and dual PPCs.

Destroy all defending units before you enter the Power District
---------------------------------------------------------------
Head towards the indicator arrow on your radar. Destroy the turrets on the
Hill and the supply tunnels that spawn tanks. A Catapult will appear from over
a hill.

Buddha says: Try to keep the battle in the open, a good way to get a bunch of
hits with your PPCs is to go inside the gates, and when he walks in blast him,
he has to come in that way, so just focus your guns on the opening. Just keep
firing and moving, this is only one Mech, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Blink says: PPCs and missiles will destroy him pretty quickly, but watch your
aim because of his jump jets. Helicopters will also start showing up. Collect
the Catapult's salvage and move on.

Once the approach is clear, enter the Power District
----------------------------------------------------
Destroy the two turrets protecting the gate and walk into it.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
7.10 - Mission 9 - Bright Lights, Dark City II
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Here you destroy the generators, gaining access to the reactor. Nuclear fusion
reactor, plunging the city into darkness.

Mechs: Mad Cat
Blink and Buddha used: Mad Cat. Once again, only Mech available.

Destroy all forces defending the generators
-------------------------------------------
Walk out of the gate and to the right. Destroy the two turrets, and enter the
city again. Four power armors hop over the gate. Quad missiles should take care
of them. Once inside the city, always keep an eye out for helicopters. There
are two depots in the city that you should head to right away: a tank depot and
a helicopter depot. There is also a Beliel by the tank depot. You know what to
do by now.

Destroy the generators to open your way to the nuclear plant
------------------------------------------------------------
Head towards the east end of town and destroy the two generators; they have
indicator arrows on them.

Destroy the defenders of the nuclear plant
------------------------------------------
Go back to where you started, and an Uller is there to greet you. PPC him and
move on up the hill. There are two turrets and a helicopter guarding this gate,
destroy them and move in. Once inside there are a few tanks to deal with, and
then an Uller and a Beliel.

Buddha says: Forget the Uller and the Beliel, just run past them and make a bee
line for the Mech Depot, it's a rather large building inside the gates that
spits out Mechs every few minutes, if you don't destroy it you're screwed.
After you take that out, pick a Mech and don't stop shooting it till it
explodes. I took on the Beliel first, as it had heavier weapons to kill me
with.

Blink says: Use your PPCs, focus on one Mech, rotate missiles. This battle is
really no different than most of the previous ones, you should be getting the
hang of this by now. The one special thing you need to do is go inside the
fence and destroy the Mech depot behind the building on your left.

The nuclear plant must be taken offline. Destroy it
---------------------------------------------------
Simply walk up to the plant and fire a couple of missile. Mission Complete.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
7.11 - Mission 10 - Not Again!
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
The Icarus, sitting duck (err...slow moving duck) that it is, is being attacked
yet again, but this time in a different climate.

Mechs: Mad Cat.
Blink and Buddha used: Mad Cat. Sense some sort of theme here?

Locate and protect the Icarus
-----------------------------
Move forward through the snow, attacking infantry and turrets as you come
across them. You will soon find a base, destroy the turrets, tanks, infantry,
and a helicopter. Use missiles for the turrets, tanks, and the helicopter, and
simply step on the infantry. On the right will be a health salvage if you need
it. As you move forward through the base, a Mech will step up. PPC him and move
on. Destroy the turret towers as you come across them, and a Uziel will
appear. PPC him too, and again use missiles on the tanks and turrets you find.
Step into a clearing after two turrets and you'll discover two Mechs.

Destroy any enemy forces that pose a threat to you or the Icarus
----------------------------------------------------------------
Between the one Mech with jump jets and the other with null signature and jump
jets, this can be a difficult fight. You have to have good aim even with the
PPCs lock on. Missiles are also a good bet. The one with null sig is easy to
lose in the snow, but once he is damaged look for the black smoke, and try to
never take your aim off of him, as it will show red making him easy to track.
Move forward and you will find..... the ICARUS! Exciting, I know. Here you
encounter a bunch of tanks and a few Mechs, but this is insanely easy, because
there is health EVERYWHERE. Yes, literally everywhere. After you defeat the
first two, an Uziel and a Mad Cat come out. Again this would be challenging,
but with health every five feet you gotta try to die here. Beat these two, and
mission complete.

Mission 11 - Thor on the Rocks

The Icarus is still venerable, so you must protect it and also destroy the WOB
sensor net so they won't be able to find you.

Mechs: Beliel, Cougar, Mad Cat, Puma, Timber Wolf, Uziel

Recomended: Timber Wolf, Beliel,  Mad Cat

1. Ensure that an attack from the enemy does not succeed

A few helicopters will appear from the north. Blast them with your missile and
then move northeast through the valley.

2. Take down the sensor units

Destroy the tanks and towers you encounter at the end of the valley, and then
move on right. Be careful of mortar cannons, they are sometimes hidden and can
also be on the top of the hills. Besides the cannons, there is some infantry
resistance here, step on them or use missiles. Use your Gauss rifles or
missiles on the sentry tower.

3. Ensure that no enemy units maneuver around you and destroy the Icarus

You are instructed to head back to the Icarus, there you will find some helicopters attacking it. Use your missiles and gauss to destroy them.  When finished move back through the valley.

4. Find and destroy the WOB sensor net

At the end of the valley go left then right this time, and again destroy any tanks, towers, and mortars you encounter. A Vulture and two tanks will appear. Destroy and grab salvage and move on towards the sensor tower. By the mountain side are two powerups.

5. Find and destroy the next sensor tower

Go back out the valley towards the next nav point. Turn right and right again to see two towers and a sort of cave. Go in it. There are a few tanks and mortars in here, but no Mechs. Destroy the third sensor tower, grab the powerups in the shelters, and go back.

6. Continue with destruction of sensor net

Two more sensor towers left. Once outside the ice overhang, move right and go forward to confront an Vulture and some tanks. Towards the beacon are two towers and another ice
overhang. Run straight through it and don't stop or it will collapse on you. In this open area are some powerups, a Vulture, and a Cougar. Destroy both Mechs, focusing on the Cougar first. Behind the ice where the Cougar was is the next sensor tower. Use missiles or Gauss rifles on it. You won't be able to lock on, but should see it well enough to aim at it.

7. Find and destroy the next sensor tower

Go south then west towards the next nav point. You will enter a valley with two towers at the start of it and encounter some tanks. Take a right and you will then be inside a little outpost. Destroy the mortars and the helicopters that are launching and leave the outpost and head right. Before you enter take out the three mortars, one on top of the hill and one at the bottom opposite you, and another on your right as you enter. In this section are some upgrades under
the round shelters, take them and move on towards the final sensor tower. Two Vultures will be waiting for you.

As usual its best if you can destroy them one at a time, using any upgraded weapons you have.  Missiles are useful but beware of chaff. For Gauss rifles you have to watch their movement. When both Mechs are a powered up Thor will then appear from under the ice that was destroyed. With all the upgrades you have, just unload on him with your most powerful weapons. Avoid his level 3 lasers, and missiles, keep circling and this isn't that hard.

Mission Successful.

Note: After destroying this mech, the mission will not end if you don't have all the sensors towers destroyed.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
7.13 - Mission 12 - Wolf in Sheep's...
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
You have captured a WOB Thor, so now you will use it to sneak into the enemy's
Base.

Mechs: Thor
Blink and Buddha used: Thor

Use the captured Thor to enter the enemy's base
-----------------------------------------------
Walk forward and then left, and be very, very careful not to touch any
infantry, tanks, or buildings. Go through the two towers and move forward, and
then around the lake. Move through some more towers, and then around the hill
up
to the gate guarded by the Atlases. The Atlases will open the door.

Stay near the comm center until Foster completes the transfer
-------------------------------------------------------------
Move over to the comm center on the right. Again, be very careful not to touch
anything. A 45 second timer will start counting down, and a suspicious Uller
will start questioning you. The Atlases will enter.

Blink's strat: Get your machine guns ready, but do not fire until the Uller
turns red in your crosshairs. Destroy him and when you are low on health pick
up his salvage Start working on the Atlases, and keep moving to avoid their
fire. Machine guns are best for close range, but your missiles will work too.
Destroy the helicopter that comes to attack you. Use target jamming and your
jump jets, and work your way over to the generators.

Buddha says: You only have to stand by the comm center until the counter shows
up, after that you can move, however, if you destroy anything before the
counter hits zero, it's mission failed.

Destroy the generators and the gates will open
----------------------------------------------
Use all your firepower (but not any powerups, save those for Mechs) on the
generator. When it is destroyed, move out the gate.

The only way out is through a heavily reinforced ravine. Follow the nav points
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As soon as you exit the gate, there is a little circular cover thing that has
health in it to your left. Destroy tanks and infantry with machine guns or
missiles, and always look for the little supply trucks, as they each have
health in them. A little down the path again on the left there will be a little
covering with health in it. Another Uller will appear before a little outpost,
destroy and move on. After it there is an ice bridge, it may be gone before you
get there, so jump jet across the ravine. On the far right is a mortar. Right
before the an ice lake on the left there is another covering with health, pick
it up if you need it. As you are moving up the path by the lake, look to your
left and destroy the towers and tanks you can target. When you are near to the
top, another Uller will come out. Back away from the outpost and destroy it,
take its salvage, and move into the outpost and destroy the rest of the tanks
and towers. A helicopter will be launching ahead of you, fire a set of missiles
at it. This outpost is full of powerups, so take them and move on. There will
be some towers, a mortar, and a supply truck right before the final ice bridge.

Cross the ice bridges and destroy them to ensure your safety
------------------------------------------------------------
As you near the end of the bridge, and Atlas will come out and step by you.
Unload on the ice beneath it when you are across the bridge, there are two
parts to it. Mission Successful.

Buddha Says: when running across the bridge, aim down, and blast at the bridge
with the machine guns, it won't destroy the bridge, but it will weaken it, then
as the atlas steps out, jump jet over, and use your most powerful weapon on the
bridge.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
7.14 - Mission 13 - Under the Guns
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
In this mission you go through some enemy territory and destroy those pesky
orbital guns. There are two strategies for this mission: run and gun or sneak
around everyone. For now I will cover the run and gun technique.

Mechs: Beliel, Cougar, Mad Cat, Puma, Summoner, Thor, Timber Wolf, Uziel
Blink used: Timber Wolf. Gauss rifles and quad missiles, great for Mechs and
tanks and helicopters.
Buddha used: Mad Cat; it's my favorite big Mech.

Work your way to the orbital guns any way you can, and quickly!
---------------------------------------------------------------
Move forward and destroy the three tanks. Ahead should be a gate, turn left and
destroy this other gate. Ahead an Uziel should appear, dodge its PPCs and
destroy it. Off to the right are some powerups. Go south from there for some
more powerups and a Mad Cat. Head along the wall on your left, there is an
Uziel on the ridge, but you can just move on as you won't be able to collect
its
salvage. A bit further ahead are two tanks, use your missiles and move forward
to find some helicopters coming from the right. Destroy them and move forward
into the outpost. Inside the two sheds on the right are some powerups. Once
inside the wall, there is a Mad Cat on your right. Behind him are some more
powerups, with even more on the opposite side by the wall. Collect any of them
that you need and move North through some construction equipment. Ahead is a
gate, destroy the generator on the right side to open it. Watch out for
helicopters.

There are at least three guns. Wipe them out before they cripple the Dragoons
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Straight ahead are a few Mechs guarding the Guns.

Blink's strat: This can be a tough one, which is why I recommend a Mech like
the Timber Wolf. Use all your upgrades on these guys, and focus on one, collect
his salvage, then move on to the next Mech. Mad Cat is the first one you'll
see,
then two Vultures and some tanks.

Buddha says: Just blast everything while walking on the path, it isn't that
hard to beat this mission.

After you take out the Mechs, use your Gauss rifles or missiles to destroy the
Orbital Guns. Mission Successful!

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
7.15 - Mission 14 - Size Matters
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Here you are in an Elemental and have to get inside the WOB base. With no
directions, a confusing layout, and Mechs on your tail, this can be a very,
very
tough mission.

Mechs: Elemental
Blink and Buddha used: Elemental.

Proceed with all due haste to the WOB 'Mech base
------------------------------------------------
Move forward, using your jump jets to cross the lava. On this level you want to
always use your jets, because it will make you harder to target. You will soon
come across a set of mining equipment and another pool of lava. Jump across the
lava and move West then South through a gate. Use missiles on any infantry you
see, and move East to see a Puma come out. Do not try to fight it, your
advantage is speed and agility.

Go through the middle supports and keep on using your jump jets. Move south
and go through the gate, it will open for you. Jump across the lava here and
use your missiles on the other Power Suit that is jumping around. Head West.
Jump jet from each rock on the sides to the next to get across the lava. Two
Power Suits are at the end to greet you. Use missiles again, lasers are too
hard
to aim when they are in the air. Move West then South across the lava, and you
will see another Puma come out.

You are now moving through a cave with large stalagmite like columns in it.
The Puma is on your tail, so keep moving. Once in the open again, move south to
find some health in a pile of dirt by a small digger. From there, move West
again through some more large drilling equipment. After some lava lakes, there
is some heavy (compared to the Elemental) resistance in the form of tanks and
infantry. Missiles again, but don't waste time on them, simply move on
Northwest. Crossing another lava stream you come across a gate, destroy the
tower right by it to get it to open. Step inside to finish the mission.

Buddha Says: Annihilate the enemies, just run, and run some more.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
7.16 - Mission 15 - Size Matters II
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Using your stolen Atlas, you have to destroy the WOB mansion. Not nearly as
hard
as the last mission.

Mechs: Atlas
Blink and Buddha used: Atlas

Destroy all WOB defenders
-------------------------
Destroy the few tanks you come across, and face a Puma. Missiles and your level
3 lasers are the best to use on the Puma, just watch out for his null sig.
After the Puma is destroyed, take out the rest of the tanks and move on East.
There's a mortar up on the hill to the right. Just fire at the supports and
they
will collapse. Go North and destroy the two tanks and the supports. Straight
ahead and to the left are some more mortars, and another Puma. Head left
towards
him, and use your upgraded weapons on him. Move Northeast and destroy some more
tanks, go across some lava and look North to find another mortar. Head North
through the valley and destroy the tanks and the Beliel in the lava. Collect
his salvage and watch your health while in the lava. Head West.

Wipe out the mansion's defenders and the mansion itself
-------------------------------------------------------
Blink's strat: Destroy all the helicopters first, the attack ones and the
transports. On all of these battles, don't forget to use your Chaff(AMS). Move
West to find some Ullers. They are no match for your Atlas. Quad
Autocannons(which also can knock them down) and lasers should make short work
of the Ullers, just watch out for Null sig. Now you also have to face another
Atlas. Combined with the other guys, he can be tough, but destroy the small
Mechs first collect their salvage and move on to this guy. A Thor is also here,
but he isn't to difficult either.

Buddha says: If you don't use your chaffs you have a significant chance of
getting your ass blown up.

After all Mechs are destroyed, move West towards the mansion. There is a little
hill before the lava moat, to get up it use the ramp on the left side. There is
a Prometheus inside here, destroy him and move up the left again. On top of the
mansion are some mortars, take them out first then just focus your firepower on
the mansion.

Buddha says: This battle is on a hill, with cover, don't get up in his face,
just stand behind the cover and fire at him.

7.17 - Mission 16 - Not on My Watch
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
The WOB is detaining the locals and accusing them of being rebels. Free them
and
destroy the WOB factories.

Mechs: Atlas, Beliel, Cougar, Mad Cat, Prometheus, Puma, Summoner, Thor, Timber
Wolf, Uziel

Blink used: Prometheus. The Warhammer and Gauss rifle are devastating for
Mechs, and you can use the lasers for tanks.

Buddha used: Prometheus, the warhammer helps a lot in the destruction of mechs.

Destroy defending forces and communications tower
-------------------------------------------------
From your starting position, head forward around the lava and destroy the tanks
that are in your way. In this area an Uziel will come out; destroy him, collect
his salvage and move on. Head around the lava and kill the tanks here. In the
next area destroy the two cannons and another Uziel. He will lead you towards
the first tower. In this area, kill the tanks and cannons. Look for low, green
topped buildings, sort of like raised helicopter landing pads. These mean one
thing: health. Destroy them with lasers or by simply bumping into
them and collect the health when you need it, and always look for these
buildings because there will be a lot of them in this and the next mission.
Destroy the tower, collect the weapons powerups in here if you need them, and
move on towards the salvage yard.

Secure salvage yard and eliminate enemy forces
----------------------------------------------
Yet another Uziel is in this next alley, destroy him and the tanks. Destroy the
cannon on your right as you go by the lava, and get the health that is right by
it if you need it. Also get the one in front of you, the salvage by it, and the
tanks. Go right and face more cannons, some tanks, and an Uziel. Warhammer,
gauss, whatever you want to use, but you should have some powerups by now.
Collect his salvage and move on towards the Mech yard, destroying cannons on
top of the walls along the way. Once inside the yard, you will be facing a
small
army of Mechs. Warhammer the one Mech in the hanger, then collect the health
inside when you need it. Focus on one Mad Cat next, using all your lvl 2 and 3
weapons. Then destroy the next Mad Cat and the Uziel, collecting salvage and
health as you need it. Inside the two round coverings are some more powerups as
well.

Sever communications at second WOB outpost
------------------------------------------
Move on Northwest towards the next nav point. First you will encounter two
tanks and a cannon, moving on further are an additional two tanks and a cannon.
As you move forward on the path look up, and you will see some planes, destroy
them before they bomb you. Move inside this next outpost and again destroy all
towers, tanks, helicopters, and cannons inside. Watch for the small green
buildings for health, and you can also destroy the building by the gated in
area for access to some more powerups inside. Raze the tower.

Secure escape route by destroying turrets
-----------------------------------------
Go out the passageway on the West side which leads North. Destroy the tanks
along the way, and at the end destroy the four turrets on the right, then look
forward over the cliff and destroy the turret and anything else you see,
including the control tower for the gate. There is another green building up
here for health if you need it. Drop down towards the base and head in.

Destroy the airdropped 'Mechs
-----------------------------

Blink says: First off, you'll face a Prometheus. Use any powerups you have,
especially warhammers and Gauss rifles, but watch your aim. He shouldn't damage
you much, so destroy him, collect his salvage, and move further inward. Here
you will go against two Prometheuses. Remember if you need health you can go
all
the way outside the gate and to the right of it heading out is a green building
with three health pickups. These guys shouldn't be too hard, just remember to
focus on one at a time and you should be fine, and if you can get one to
explode
right by the other it's even easier. Mission Successful.

Buddha says: Just use the warhammer, and chaffs, and he won't be able to hit
you.

7.18 - Mission 17 - Payback
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
One of the WOB head honchos escaped, so you must hunt him down in a convoy and
kill him.

Mechs: Atlas, Beliel, Cougar, Mad Cat, Prometheus, Puma, Summoner, Thor, Tibmer
Wolf, Uziel

Blink used: Summoner. Warhammer missile and the lasers can be pretty powerful,
but you can get away with using a Mech without jump jets if you want better
weapons.

Buddha used: Prometheus.

In this convoy is your target. Eliminate all with extreme prejudice
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Move forward across the two lava pools, and then when the music starts when you
see the third lava pool turn left and destroy the cannon and helicopter on the
cliff facing you, then look down to see the convoy. Be careful, and try to move
around a bit, because a lot of fire will be coming your way. Return it with any
long distance weapons you have, and soon a Puma will come onto the cliff with
you. Move away from the cliff to fight him, and make sure to collect his health
and salvage.

Again move to the Cliffside, the convoy should almost completely be past
you now. Destroy the tank and the end and drop down. Back up a bit and fire at
the Catapult right ahead of you, trying to draw him away form the rest of the
convoy. As with all the Catapults, be careful of their warhammer missiles. Once
it is just you and the Catapult, destroy him and move on again towards the
convoy. Destroy the next tank and again move close to the Catapult and destroy
it. The next tank and Catapult will also be attacking you so destroy them too.

There will be a tank coming down on your left, kill him and move towards
the next Catapult. You shouldn't be low on health here if you collect the
salvage from all the Mechs, but if you are, just be careful about the
warhammers, as they will do the most damage. Once this Catapult is destroyed
there will be another tank coming down on your left. Destroy him and move
onward. You'll meet the next tank after crossing some lava, and behind him is
another Catapult. You'll also discover there is another convoy.

In this convoy is your target. Eliminate all with extreme prejudice
-------------------------------------------------------------------
There is another Catapult in addition to the one you just destroyed here, so
kill this one too and collect his salvage. Around the next corner and after a
little lava lake is your next two targets, a tank and a Catapult. Destroy the
tank first and then the Catapult. Mission Successful.

Buddha says: Wait until the convoy passes through, then hop down into the
valley and kill 'em from a distance with the warhammer.

7.19 - Mission 18 - Worst Day since...
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
The commander of the WOB, Strader, (the one with the really annoying voice
always talking to you) is trying to escape the planet, so you must stop him.

Mechs: Atlas, Beliel, Cougar, Mad Cat, Prometheus, Puma, Summoner, Thor, Timber
Wolf, Uziel

Blink used: Prometheus. Large and powerful, with warhammers and quad
autocannons.

Buddha used: Mad Cat, hasn't failed me yet.

Clear out enemy forces and locate the WOB spaceport
---------------------------------------------------
Move forward around the cliff and across the bridge. Destroy the tank and the
green building for health, but you shouldn't need it here. Go forward,
destroying all the tanks that come out. When you curve around left, destroy the
cannon and tank, and then turn left and then right, destroying cannons along
the way. If you are in a bigger Mech you will need to shoot the lava coverings
blocking your way.

Gain access to the WOB spaceport
--------------------------------
Go inside the little wall/gate and destroy everything you see. There should be
a powerup inside the low building. Turn left, destroy the tank, and go
forwards.
Far ahead you should see a little streak in the air, destroy it also. Here,
between the two lava stacks, you will fight a few tanks and a helicopter. You
should also see two towers in the distance. Head towards them to face two
Owens. Pretty easy, except these guys are fast, so be cautious when using
manual
aim weapons. Also watch out for the cannon fire coming down on you. When you've
killed the two Mechs, move towards the bridge.

Destroy escaping enemies and the control towers
-----------------------------------------------
Fire at and destroy the tunnel across the bridge then head right. Destroy the
cannon right ahead of you and go right. Destroy the tank and the helicopters,
and to the right should be a green health building. Destroy the building and
the tank by the tower to you left and keep on moving around the base. A few
helicopters and tanks are in this next area, along with another green health
building. Turn left and raze the helicopter depot then enter the base to the
West by destroying the tower outside. Turn right and destroy the tanks and tank
depot, as well as the two cannons and generators. Now head back South then West
Some tanks and three Hackmans. Watch their speed, these Mechs can be tricky
with null sig and don't forget to use your defensive power if you have one.
There are also some green health buildings inside here if you need them. Go up
the path to the open door that leads further inside the base.

Destroy the WOB dropship before it takes off
--------------------------------------------
Gauss, missiles, just take this bad boy down, it shouldn't be too hard. On your
right is a Mech factory, destroy it and any Thors it produces. Then destroy the
generator behind it. Collect all the salvage form the plane, and there is a
ton, then head through the door heading East. Use your weakest weapons on this
dropship, since you don't want to waste powerups.

Buddha Says: If you miss the plane, abort the mission, your chances are slim to
none of winning the massive battle without the power-ups.

Render the Ragnarok inoperable
------------------------------
Blink says: He's big, bad, and, well, not much of a challenge with a big Mech
and all the powerups you've collected. Move around a lot to avoid his Gauss
rifles and lava gun, and just unload on him. Don't fire when his shield is up,
attack from afar, and use the two health buildings' health when you need it.
Piece of cake.

Buddha says: Blink lies, this is no piece of cake, just sit and blast the drop
ship with your weakest gun, from behind where the Ragnarok comes out, then when
he pops out, blast him with everything you have. Just continually use the
dropship as cover, and run around in circles, when the Ragnarok is not on the
screen, blow up all the support he has.

Mission 19 - Ready to Rok!

Using the newly captured Raganarok, you must go find and destroy the Doomsday
Device or else the planet will be destroyed.

Mechs: Ragnarok

Blink and Buddha used: Ragnarok

Nothing else matters. Stop the drilling device or all is lost
-------------------------------------------------------------
From the start, turn around and take out the tunnel to stop any tanks from
sneaking up behind you. Destroy the control tower and enter the outpost,
destroying the Timber Wolf that is there to meet you first. Raze the whole town
to make it easier to aim. Inside here are a lot of tanks, and a lot of Mechs,
mainly Mad Cats and Thors. Take out them all and note a few things. Since the
Ragnarok has javelin missiles, you have to be reasonably far away from the
target, and the other weapons are all manual aim. This can be difficult, but as
always, focus on one Mech at a time and always collect the health, although you
can wait until you are lower in health to pick it up. In the left near the gate
is a green health building, and don't forget to use your shield. When you are
finished here, follow the road East.

Here, first turn right and destroy the two Mech depots, then you can
concentrate on the Mechs and tanks. If you destroy the hanger type things there
are health and other powerups inside. When you have destroyed everything follow
the road North. Destroy the three cannons you see and you'll face an Atlas. Now
head North then East along the road. You'll enter a dirt and lava area. Two
Thors are in a lava area that you have to cross. Destroy them and quickly go
through the lava to the other side. You'll go under a land bridge and again
have to cross over some lava. Use your shield and cross it, then a Mad Cat will
come up. Try and keep a bit of distance to make it easy to aim. Next you will
face a trio of Mechs, two Mad Cats and an Atlas. Destroy them, enter the gate
and you are done with this mission.

Buddha says: Against the trio of mechs, use the lava gun on the Atlas until it
is destroyed. You want to take it out first because he will do the same amount
of damage to you every shot with the lasers, but with the Mad-cats, they will
only use PPCs or missles, which are easily picked out and blocked with the
shield.

7.21 - Mission 20 - Ready to Rok! II
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Final mission of the game. You only have one objective, to save the world from
being destroyed by the Doomsday Device.

Mechs: Ragnarok

Blink and Buddha used: Ragnarok

Destroy all defenders in proximity to the Doomsday Drill
--------------------------------------------------------
Move forward through the gate, cross the lava using your shield, and use
missiles on the helicopters ahead of you. Go around a corner past some drilling
equipment, and destroy the two cannons at the next gate. Cross thee small patch
of lava and destroy the tanks here also. Go through the gate and check the
coverings to your left and right for powerups. Through the next gate you'll see
a dropship take off; this is the site of the Doomsday Drill. Here there are
Mechs: an Atlas, a Thor, a Prometheus, and a Summoner. Should be no problem in
a Rag. Concentrate on the heavier Mechs first, use your Gauss rifles and if you
knock them down the Lava gun, and always collect the salvage.

Nothing else matters. Stop the drilling device or all is lost
-------------------------------------------------------------
A few power suits and other things will be firing at you at this point, but
they can't do any measurable damage so head up the hill to the Doomsday Drill,
step into the center, press A, and you're done.

Buddha says: Press A huh? If A is self-destruct I would have lost a lot more
mechs than I did. As far as the ending goes, can anyone say sequel?
