Whenever I have heartaches, as I most always do,
I try to count my blessings, for I have quite a few.
I think how very lucky I am, just to be able to know
The wonders of this world of ours, as on thru life I go.
I realize things could be worse, so I take it all in stride
The troubles that confront my view and cause my joys top hide,
I find it hard to do sometimes, but that it really pays
To seek the better side of life and spread some happy rays.
So when things do not go right and I am all at sea,
I think of other people who would gladly change with me |
