Cai

Caisleen Flannan or "Cai", is a very close friend of Aurturus.  She met Tor in a tavern in the City of Doors, where he hired her on behalf of the party of adventurers he was traveling.  He had been told that the contact they needed would be in that pub.  Auturus mistakenly thought that the street-wise half-elf was the person he was looking for and sat down and spoke to her about the job she'd be needed for.  Whether it was the description of the adventure or Auturus' quirky looks that intrigued her, Cai took the money offered and agreed to travel with the young mage and his 'friends'.  Aurturus was quite shocked when he brought Cai out to meet his traveling companions only to find that she was not the person he had been sent to meet.  He had chosen the wrong thief!  Tor still jokes about it to this day that he had "Wrong thief, right girl."

Cai is a Half-elven native of the City of Doors.  She is street-wise, a free thinker, loner & a skilled rogue.  She stands about 5'8", has greenish-hazel eyes, wavy auburn hair and mocha colored skin.

She travels where ever her fancy takes her, which could be anywhere, for the City of Doors contains Gates and Portals to any Realm that one can imagine.  Cai is a doer & believes that problem can only be solved if you yourself are willing to stand up and try and solve it yourself.  This belief often gets her and her friends into some pretty sticky situations.

She has great respect, admiration and a warm friendship with Auturus.  She is loyal & trusts the "spell-slinger" as no other.  She loves to puzzle out which spell he is going to cast and because of her kean observation of his spell casting techniques, can often know what spell is being cast & where she should be when the spell is complete.

The image above depicts Cai escaping from a rather large, nasty fiend, with a very precious & rare item, an item that has religious significance to the creature that's chasing her!  In the back Auturus & Gamble can be seen.  Gamble & Cai have known each other since childhood.  At the time depicted in the picture, Auturus & Cai had been friends for about 3 years.
