Memo from the wonderful world of CD
A thousand mile journey starts with 1 step.
Let's give a warm Welcome to Blue Bitty! (Sept 23, 2006)

Forgive the photo quaility. It was taken with my cell phone.  Image

But there she is. My New bike! Image 2000 Suzuki SV650.

MAN, what a different ride.  Image  Talk about some giddie-up and a hair trigger. I'm keeping the Blast for a few days and Frew is taking her until I can get a little practice time in. It is also at least a 15 degree more forward riding position which puts more preasure on your arms and wrists and changes the stirring dramatically. That is something that is going to take some getting use to. I am so glad Frew talked me into the naked 650 instead of the s to start with. The s is more the true "Crotch Rocket" position. Though I do believe even with just the few laps in the parking lot with the more straight up position of this bike, the lower position would make you more nimble.  I thought I could control the Blast with my hips, this one is even easier.

Yep, I think I'm gonna like it once I get the hang of it but I am going to have to get some practice in before I take her out on the street. She could to easily get away from me.
