Atlanta Botanical Gardens & Alfredo's (Sept 17, 2006)
photo

We had a GREAT time at our friend's cookout last night. Saw some old friends and met a lot of really neat new folks.

Forgot the Bike place was closed today, bit of a bummer but oh well, not like I have the funds yet anyway.

I needed to work so I did a little (VERY little) then it was just to beautiful a day to stay inside so me and the Most Excellent decided to go and check out the Atlanta Botanical Gardens since I had never been. They were featuring "Nikki". The picture is of some of her work that was placed in the gard3ns. Not really my taste. There were still a couple of the Chihuly pieces there. I like those better.  Saw a lot of spiders and FROGS! It was perfect day for the gardens.

Then we met some friends for dinner at Alfredo's on Cheshire Bridge Rd. Food was really, really good.

We have a new guy in our social club that Hang Glides. I REALLLLLY want to do this.  It looks seriously cool. I was so scared on the ultralights at first I thought I was going to be sick but then when I was in the air, it was the most unbelievable experience I had had in my life to date. Well, except maybe for seeing Joshua born.

Check it out.  Look at the video portion.  www.hanglide.com
