ARTICLE I - NAME

This committee will officially be named "USSVI BUFFALO BASE USS CROAKER RESTORATION COMMITTEE ".

ARTICLE II - PURPOSE

A. To oversee the upkeep and maintenance of the USS Croaker under the care of the Buffalo and Erie County Servicemen's' Park.

B. To raise funds and collect grants to purchase and maintain Croaker related artifacts and equipment.

C. To collect and record Croaker historical events.

ARTICLE III - ORGANIZATION

A. Chairman - To be appointed by USSVI Buffalo Base Board of Directors

1. Give monthly reports to USSVI Buffalo Base Commander

2. Appoint and Oversee all Croaker Committee sub-committees

3. Member of Buffalo and Erie County Servicemen's Park Board of Directors.

B. Ship's Superintendent

1. Co-ordinate ships projects with Naval Park

2. Schedule Croaker field days

3. Provide Grants Chairman with log of volunteer hours on Croaker.

4. Give monthly reports to USSVI Buffalo Base Board of Directors

C. Historian

1. Collect and record historical records of the Croaker

2. Collect, maintain and catalog Croaker related artifacts

D. Daily Draw Calendars

1. Distribute, collect, record and pay winners for the annual Croaker Daily Draw Calendars.

2. Maintain Croaker Restoration Fund Checking account.

3. Provide a monthly financial report to Base Commander and Croaker Restoration Committee Chairman.

E. Grants

1. Research, apply for, and obtain Grants

2. Log all volunteer hours

3. Liaison to Historic Ships Society

F. Public Affairs

1. Liaison to local news media

G. Storekeeper

1. Purchase, inventory, and sell Croaker Souvenir Merchandise.
