What else do Orb list members listen to?

In February, 2001 (a bit late this year - sorry), Orb list members were once again asked to list their top 10 artists besides the Orb. Two weeks and 39 posts later, these responses were compiled and are presented here. As this is the third year, the 1998 and 1999 positions are listed in parentheses next to the current rank. Since the submissions were inconsistent (some included in Orb in their top 10, some didn't, some listed 12 or 13 or 59, etc.), I had to adopt some calculations to make sure that each post was weighted fairly.
