| We only took a couple of pictures at the Denver show. The one on the left is really "BIG" amethyst geodes. The one in front was made by attaching feet to amethyst tubes to use as a table base - functional art!!!! To the right, we have Cindy with giant size quartz crystals (almost makes me look tall - LOL). |

| Vail was celebrating Octoberfest (in mid-September). Not only did we eat grilled knockwurst, we got to see them play the BIG horns. |
| This is the lovely little creek that runs through central Vail. We sat on the banks to eat our lunch. |
| Flowers were everywhere in Vail. This is the entrance to the central village (they also have an east and west). It was gorgeous at this time of year. No cold yet to kill everything. |
| All the stores and streets are very Swiss Aplinish looking. A very nice place to visit. It's also canine heaven. I don't think I've ever seen so many dogs in one place. |
