PURPOSE (Lighting Calculator):
The Lighting Calculator can be used to facilitate calculation of lighting levels using the Room Cavity Ratio technique. To use this program the user must be familiar with this calculation method and must understand the relationship between the RCR value and the value of the Coefficient of Utilization.

PURPOSE (Voltage Drop Calculator):
The Electrical Calculator can be used to facilitate voltage drop calculations. To use this program the user must be familiar with pertaining electrical rules.

PURPOSE (Electrical Calculator):
The Electrical Calculator can be used to facilitate basic electrical parameters calculations. To use this program the user must be familiar with pertaining electrical rules.

INSTALLING THE CALCULATORS:

I	THE EASY WAY

If you downloaded the complete package from internet unzip the files to a diskette and follow the instructions below.

1) Place the Lighting Calculator diskette into a floppy drive
   of your computer.
2) Select the File:Run menu option of the Program Manager,
   and type into the dialog box the following:  A:SETUP
3) The installation program will prompt you for any additional
   information needed.

II	IF YOU PREFER TO DO IT YOURSELF (or if the setup program fails)

If you downloaded the complete package from internet unzip the files to
a directory of your choice and follow the instructions below.

FILES:

The following files must be installed on your hard drive:

LTGCALC.EXE
Lighting Calculator executable may be installed in any directory of you choice the default is c:\electra

VOL_DROP.EXE
Voltage Drop Calculator executable may be installed in any directory of you choice the default is c:\electra

TRAFO.EXE
Electrical Calculator executable may be installed in any directory of you choice the default is c:\electra

You also need the following subroutine files:
- VBRUN300.DLL
- SPIN.VBX       
- THREED.VBX
The subroutine files must all be placed in your ...\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. You may already have them installed on your hard drive so verify the dates and copy only if newer.

All other files you see on the distribution floppy disk:
- SETUP.EXE
- SETUP1.EXE
- SETUP.LST
- SETUPKIT.DL_
- VER.DL_
- README.TXT
are the autosetup files not required to run the Lighting Calculator application.
