Who art in Heaven (Heaven is within earshot!)
We LOVE you LORD, our Strength. (Jesus told us to LOVE GOD!)
(hallowed just sounds hollow, now...)
Thy kingdom, come,
(we want YOU to rule the earth!)
Thy will be done, on earth ( We desire to do your will, )
as it is in heaven. (as perfectly and immediately as angels do.)
give us this day our daily bread (Nourish us with Your LOVE)
and forgive us our trespasses ( Please forgive our sins)
as we forgive those ( and selfishness, and anger,)
who trespass against us. (to the extent that WE forgive OTHERS...)
and lead us not into temptation ( Don't TAZE us, Lord...)
but
Deliver us from evil. ( Save, us... Lord.)
For if we forgive others ( if...)
their sins against us... (we forgive.)
You, Our Father, promised
to forgive our sins as well.
We have Jesus' word on it.
And WE BELIEVE HIM!
