September 8th brought us a trial with high entries to match the high temperatures. The dogs were cast at 7:00 am, and the temperatures quickly rose into the 80's. In spite of the shortage of natural water on the grounds this time of year, the dogs ran hard, the judges got plenty of score, and the dogs were grateful at the end of the day to get the water we'd brought in with us. Even the elusive Zeet came in at a reasonable time to get a drink and have her picture taken. This win was Zeet's 3rd win; one more to go to get her Grand Beagle Fox Champion title!
