| The volume pot had a worn retainer, which allowed the shaft to "wiggle". It felt sloppy to operate. I replaced this with a high quality spring retainer. This one is slightly oversized compared to the original, which was perfect, because the threaded housing had also worn where the retainer was in contact with it (aluminum you know...).
