Vote for me in Top 100 Crochet and Hook Sites List

H hook or size needed for gauge. First 3 rounds measure approximately 4 inches square.

Stitch Guide:

fpdc - YO, insert hook from front to back around post of st indicated, YO and pull up a loop (3 loops on hook), (YO and draw through 2 loops on hook) 2 times.

Starting Asymmetric Corner - (Ch 3, dc, ch 2, dc) in indicated space or stitch.

Asymmetric Corner - (2 dc, ch 2, dc) in indicated space or stitch.

Notes:

A) The corners are unusual in this pattern. Watch out! They have 2 dc, a space and then only ONE dc! Be careful not to put a second dc on the left hand side of that corner, or you'll throw your stitch count off and have a terrible time finding out where you went wrong.

B) All fpdc stitches in this pattern slant from upper right to lower left. The pattern has slanted ridges covering each quadrant.

C) I know that it looks like a lot of counting here, but the pattern will become very obvious and easy after the first few rows.
