Laboratory Safety Rules
1. Never enter the laboratory without the
teacher's permission.
2. Ready the experiment carefully and prepare the outline of your
lab.
3. Never taste any chemical substances.
4. Report any accident, injuries or incorrect procedure to the
teacher.
5. Handle chemicals carefully and do not return unused into a
reagent bottle.
6. Stay in your assigned lab area and make sure that your area is
clean.
7. Wash your hands with soap and water when finished with lab work.
8. Be aware of the safety equipment in the laboratory.
9. Use caution when handling hot glassware and glassware in general.
10.Wear appropriate clothing and such as long pants, closed toe shoes
and short sleeve shirts. Goggles and lab
aprons will be worn during lab
unless directed by the teacher.
