We are Nexen Inc. (formerly Canadian
Occidental Petroleum). Our core business activities include exploration,
development, production and marketing of crude oil and natural gas,
and the manufacturing and marketing of sodium chlorate, chlorine
and caustic soda. We operate from a strong base of assets in Yemen,
Canada and the Gulf of Mexico. Our core operations also include
a 7.23 per cent interest in the Syncrude Joint Venture in Canada.
We aggressively target exploration activities and operations in
the deep waters of the Gulf of Mexico, Yemen, Nigeria, Australia,
Indonesia and Colombia. Our chemicals operations are located throughout
North America and, most recently, Brazil. We conduct our business
in an honest, ethical manner and adhere to the highest standards
of integrity when dealing with our stakeholders and the communities
where we operate. |

The Canada 2000 Millennium Group was established
to give all Canadians an opportunity to join in the millennium celebration,
promote tourism across Canada, establish a national events and activity
internet site, provide an opportunity for schools, cultural, sports
and community groups to raise money for their events program or
activity, and to raise money for quality national Canadian organizations
that put our kids first. |

Mission Statement: Rocky View School Division No. 41 will provide
quality education for every student in a caring and innovative
environment. With a goal of developing life-long learners in an
environment of continuous improvement, Rocky View School Division
No. 41 takes pride in the innovative, student-centered programs
offered in its schools.
On January 3, 1939, by order of the Minister of Education, Calgary
School Division No. 41 was created, bringing into one administrative
unit, some 76 local school districts. In 1966 Cochrane School
District No. 142 joined the Division. In 1977 the Division changed
its name to Rocky View School Division No. 41. The Jurisdiction
was completed in 1993 with the addition of school districts Keystone
Valley, Morley and Sibbald Flats. We are currently the sixth largest
school district in Alberta.

The Heritage Project is a long-term educational programme developed
to raise greater interest in and awareness of Canada's past. By
linking what children see at home, on television and on computer
screens to their studies, the Project aims to actively engage
all Canadians in the sharing of their stories with each other,
and with the world.
