Below is a listing of the past champions of the CDFL. The first two seasons we operated as a point based system. The Wyld Stallions, Hamiltucky Hillbillies ,North Coast Shakers and the Wallachian Raiders won in a head to head playoff system. All others were crowned champion for having the best record following a 17 week head to head system.
The break between the 1992/93 Hamiltucky Hillbillies and the 1999/00 Rio Grande Rioters represents a period of league hiatus. The 1999/00 season was the first internet based season of league play.
The league considers the year of which the Super Bowl is played as the year of the season. For example, league play during the 2003 - 2004 season would be considered the 2004 season as the Super Bowl is played January 2004.
