I appoint my sons Thomas Ismay of Dover, aforesaid {........} William Ismay of Milton next Sittingbourne {sailor} executors {thereof}. To my daughter Sarah wife of John Cooke of Bury St. Edmunds in the county of Suffolk {.......} I give two hundred pounds. To my daughter Mary wife of Henry Wigglesworth of Newbury in the county of Berks {Surgeon} I give five hundred pounds. To my neice Mary Ann Kirkland I give and annuity of forty pounds per annum to be paid quarterly during the term of her natural life, the first quarterly payment to be made on the first {...} quarter day after my decease I declare that the said bequests to my daughters and my niece shall be to their respective separate use independant of their {....} respective present and and future husbands and not to be liable to the debts control or engagements of of such husbands and I {....} that the {receipts} of my said daughters and my said neice respectively {alone} shall notwithstanding {........} be sufficient discharges to my executors. To my sons Thomas Ismay and William Ismay I give three thousand pounds upon trust to invest the same upon Government Securities or upon Mortgages of Freehold, copyhold or leasehold estates (on the leasehold estates being {.....} for terms of which not less than 50 years shall be unexpired at the time of such investments and which {....} time to time may actually be procured thereby to my daughter Sarah Cooke for her sole and separate use free from the debts, control or engagements of her present or future husband and I declare that the receipt alone notwithstanding {......} be sufficient discharge to my said trustees. And after the decease of my said daughter in trust to pay such Income to the John Cooke for the term of his life and after the {....} of the survivor of them the said John Cooke and Sarah his wife upon trust to transfer the capital of such trusts funds unto and amongst all {......} or exlcusively of thechildren or < more to come>."
