The funeral took place at Wigton Cemetery on Monday of Mrs Margaret Ismay, East View, Wigton, who died on Friday at the age of 74 years. The Rev. F.C. Mann officiated. Mrs Ismay was the wife of George Ismay, the former licensee of the Black Swan and Lion & Lamb Hotels. In her younger days she took a prominent part of the social life of the town, and shae had been known widely as a keen whist player.
