Approach: From the L.Llaca, hike up the valley to the left (N) of the lake up easy terrain. The valley will gradually then quite sharply rise, leading to a juncture between the cliff band and the moraine. Traverse right on the cliffband (bolt at midlevel) reaching a flake which can be climbed easily (5.4, 10ft). Continue to traverse right reaching the top of the moraine. Approach for Alchimia, American Direct Lines: From the moraine campfollow cairns along the junction of the glacier until just left of the american line. Cross the glacier with minimum crevasses until the rock buttress to the left of the Alchimia line.
